章節 10: Ash Island

Albert had no success finding ways to make quantum plorts taste good although he had gotten many from his quantum slime he decided to finally place slimes in the other expansions. This was done using slimes in the areas he found and with some plorts he had kept.

In the Grotto, he had placed two types of Largos those Largos being Rad Boom Largos and Rad Phosphor Largos, one type looked as if it was a nuclear weapon and the other was like a beautiful firefly that stood out in the night. They were both given rad plorts due to the reason that oca ocas could grow in the dark so it also essentially allowed him to be a little lazy so that he didn't need to leave the expansion to get food to feed these guys. All in all along with the two oca oca gardens and a silo the expansion was full.

The moss blanket was reserved for slimes that he could only get very far away, these slimes were tangle slimes and dervish slimes, they were very hard to control with the dervish making tornados and the tangle slimes using their ability to manipulate plants and eat either plorts or steal hens from their coops.

Something new though interested him. After eating the quantum plorts his body changed, he could see himself flickering like a quantum slime when he wanted to go somewhere, he now realized that every plort he ate granted him abilities. The pink plorts although now allowed him to eat anything. Literrally anything, that included rocks, wood, random plants, minerals, anything!

He then ate a lot of hunter plorts and it allowed him to turn invisible at any time. He tried to see whether the effects would end at some point but they didn't. He realized his potential now, he could finally be lazy and not need to run to get to places! Truly incredible!

He checked the mirror though and saw his hair, it had become an incredibly dominant cyan colour and his eyes? They were a glowing white just like the quantum slimes.

'Interesting'-Albert

Eating plorts granted him the abilities of different slimes and looking at the Slimepedia he hadn't seen anything until he reached a certain page.

Slime Human:

Sometimes when plorts are eaten a genetic compound within the plorts reacts with the Human, Scientists believe it is a reaction of certain chemicals. Though this only happens to those of pure Mediterranean descent. The reason for this is unknown but these humans are often criticised in the modern society due to their differences, usually for their naturally blue hair and glowing eyes. It is believed by paleontologists that they are humanoid descendants of the rare saber slime or of the quantum slime.

This was a shocker for him, he was indeed from the Mediterranean seas but he didn't know that he was of pure descent. He shook his head though, knowing this now wouldn't change a thing. But he still had a few things to do before asking Viktor, one of his usual clients who was a scientist about it.

One of those things was to decide what slimes should go into the slime lab expansion. An Idea was for two types of quantum Largos but when he looked at the slime labs blue prints they all required pink plorts so a good decision was for Rad Tabby Largos and Pink Rock Largos, Simple but essential for the lab.

Now one of his thoughts for the docks other than puddle slimes for the waterfall, was for crystal quantum Largos, this could allow him to expand his funds and study the quantum plorts more, aswell as tasting the crystal plorts.

Closing his eyes he imagined a small island next to the Indigo quarry, its appearance like an ash covered giant coral reef. Giant pillars reaching for the skies and their peaks blooming with beautiful volcanic flowers.

Opening his eyes he saw exactly what he envisioned, this was a perk of the quantum slimes power, selective teleportation.

Around a large hill he saw various slimes, pink slimes and rad slimes, but his goal was the blue crystalline slimes which rolled like rock slimes but left explosive crystals in their wake. Shattering glass sounded all across the island. His vac-pack on his back and the vacuum gun in his hand he chased the little critters left and right. Managing to catch a select few but just enough.

He saw something interesting though, the flowers of the Ash Island were full of sap and released it in a powder form every few seconds. Using a jar he easily obtained it and placed it in he back while snagging a few of the flowers.

He entered the Ranch after that by teleporting and then went to the Docks and placed there the crystal slimes with the quantum slimes, he also placed the phase lemon garden there along with a silo.

He Immediately went to the kitchen and tested out the powder on a soup he had in the fridge. a pogofruit soup if you would. It tasted rather spicy and a mildly savoury, but it also felt very intoxicating.

He could make a spicy alcohol with this! He grabbed a bottle of sap from the moss Blanket and placed it in a fermenter, a machine that fermented plants at an accelerated rate. It then turned from a milky white to a clear colour and the taste? It was almost exactly like a sweet vodka, and with the volcanic flower sap? It tasted like fireball whisky, pungent but enjoyable.

He went outside as usual and sat cross-legged in front of the slime sea. Overlooking how it stayed a beautiful cyan colour even under the Night sky, when the stars shined like the sun and the moon glowed a warm white.
