章節 13: Chapter 13: The Little Taotie Who Guards the Food
Tao Ti instinctively grabbed the hand reaching for her and pulled hard, only to hear the fat man scream like a slaughtered pig: "It's dislocated, let go! Let go quick!"
Tao Ti hurriedly released her grip, retreating fearfully, "I... didn't do it on purpose."
Just unintentionally causing a dislocation, imagine what she could do if she meant it…
The fat man looked at Chen Bin and discovered to his shock that he was actually coughing up blood.
A ridiculous thought flashed through his mind: the fat man felt that if the kid did it on purpose, he might end up coughing up blood just like Chen Bin right there.
The fat man also noticed the strangeness of the child and instinctively moved closer to Chen Bin, lowering his voice: "This little monster has some strength."
"Not just some, when her fist hit me, it felt like a thirty-kilogram stone had struck me." Chen Bin said as he coughed up more blood, "It's no good, you need to take me to a hospital, I feel like all my internal organs have shifted."
Seeing that the two men weren't coming to grab her again, Tao Ti turned and ran, not taking the elevator but sprinting down the stairs.
When she reached the front door of the company, she saw Cheng Guodong running towards her, breathless, and lifted her into his arms, "It's my fault for being late, are you alright?"
Tao Ti leaned on his shoulder, feeling relieved, her voice muffled, "I hurt someone, will they ask me for compensation? I still need to earn money to save Grandpa, I have no money to compensate them…"

He thought his half-sister was scared by some pervert, who could have imagined that she was worried and frightened about paying compensation!
At dinner, Cheng Guodong brought a lot of tasty food to see Tao Ti, but found out from the producer that Chen Bin had taken the child away.
He immediately rushed over, fearing he was a step too late and that his little sister would be bullied!

Cheng Guodong handed the child over to a bodyguard with a cold voice: "Take her to the car, get some food to calm her nerves, the rest of you, follow me!"
Tao Ti's stomach growled at the right moment; she had expended too much energy and needed to replenish it.
Cheng Guodong, along with nine bodyguards in black suits, went upstairs, screams emanating from the tenth floor growing progressively weaker until almost inaudible.
Cheng Guodong stepped on Chen Bin's face, "The thirty million is paid, and you still dare to touch her, are you tired of living?"
Chen Bin's teeth had been knocked out and his mouth was full of blood, "It wasn't me, it was him... he ordered me to do it, I had something on me, I didn't dare disobey him!"
"Chen Bin, what nonsense are you spouting!" the fat man roared.
Cheng Guodong sneered: "You still have the energy to roar, seems like you were just pretending earlier! Hit him, keep hitting him, until he can't make a sound!"
The sound of fists thudding against flesh rained down densely, the fat man howled begging for mercy until he passed out completely from the pain, silent at last, then the bodyguards stopped.
Cheng Guodong returned to the car and saw Tao Ti hugging half-eaten French bread, asleep.
He wanted to take the bread out of Tao Ti's hands, but her small chubby hand was clenched tight, even in her sleep she was like the protective Little Taotie.
Unable to take it after some effort, he gave up, gently touched Tao Ti's little nose, "No way to deal with you, then just sleep while hugging the bread."
Cheng Guodong got out of the car, making a phone call.
"You should investigate the situation here, those children's causes of death are unclear, parents not filing a report doesn't mean it should be overlooked."
The other end of the line was silent for a moment, then replied, "We have sent people to conduct covert investigations several times, but someone has been obstructing, it seems like there is a problem with internal personnel."
"Alright, as long as you know, I'm hanging up."
