章節 7: Back to the Village
"Sir Khavahk, do you think I can outrun the giant eye in the lake?" Aezir asked the spirit form of Khavahk while looking at the ceiling of the enclosure.
"It is hard to say. I do not know what that creature is yet. But, this is a low-level area, so it should not be all that dangerous." Khavahk affirmed
<Come on, Fluff. Let us get out of here already.>
<Kyaa> Answered Fluff as she came out of the T-shirt of Aezir. "KYA!!" It screamed and hit back under Aezir's cloth after it saw Khavahk.
"Hahaha, you caused her great trauma, sir," Aezir said. <Come on now. He is not going to force you to train anymore.>
Khavahk merely sneered as Fluff slowly crawled out of Aezir's shirt. <Come, Fluff. Open it up.> Aezir said. Fluff then jumped up on the ceiling and slowly dug out the ground. "Kyu?"
<What is the problem?>
<Uhm, I cannot do this before. Now, I can dig out and get out.>
[That is not surprising, the array here only prevents Fluff from going out. However, she is already bounded and not considered as "Fluff" anymore, but a mixture of both of you.] Khavahk explained
When the ceiling opened, Fluff swiftly merged into Aezir as the latter slowly swam up. 'Faster!' Aezir thought. He was trying his best to get out of the water as quickly as possible to avoid the eye from before.
"Phew! What a relief." Said Aezir after getting out of the deep lake.
Meanwhile, in the depths of the lake, a gigantic fish turned its head away from the surface of the lake. "Live well, kid. Maybe you are the hope of this place." It said before going back to the bottom of the lake.
Back on the surface. [This is great, I do not feel cold anymore!]
[Keh! If you still felt cold under this mediocre temperature, then what are those five months for?]
[Hehe, you are right.] Aezir said. [Well, it is time to go back to the village. I wonder if grandpa is okay.]
[Well, why don't you take this time to fight some beasts to gain experience. It is a shame to waste time.]

Aezir did not debate and started to walk to the center of the lake. He had an unfinished business with the Advanced Beast here. Although this time, he is going for the kill. Soon, he entered the lair and saw a lair purely made of ice. In the middle of it lies what seems to be a breed between a horse and a bear. Its entire lower body is that of a horse; however, it is covered in white fur. The body is also much more muscular than that of a regular horse. Of course, the discerning factor is still the head which is that of a polar bear. The white beast stared at Aezir with its piercing blue eyes.

The air turned cold. "Howl!" Sounded the Polar Horse-Bear. It is obviously signaling that Aezir should leave. 'Glad I did not get here. I would have been dead otherwise.'
"Cease your resistance. You are destined to die today."
"Howl!" The Polar Horse-Bear shouted once more. It seemed to have understood what Aezir said. It then ran straight to Aezir, ready to tear him apart.
"Well, you asked for it. Devour!" Aezir cast.
"Howl! *Ice Claw*" The Polar Horse-Bear used.
The claw of the horse-bear that is now covered in ice moved to tear Aezir apart. However, the black hole-like suction of Aezir quickly severed the claw from the horse-bear's entire body.
"Howl!" It cried in pain.
'Damn! Even I am scared of Fluff's ability.'
The battle quickly concluded after Aezir killed it by punching and devouring its heart.
[Good. Now, place your hand on the corpse and feel it with the Mark. You need to absorb it to increase the power of your Mark.] Khavahk said.
"Woah," Aezir could not help but exclaim amusement. The corpse disintegrated and merged into his Mark. The color then became even more dominated by Violet. "To think that a month's hard work is almost equivalent to this kill," he murmured.
[That is why we are called adventurers. Strength is only garnered through adventures and fights.]
'This is fun! I never had this kind of thrill on Earth. Maybe this is my calling! Hmmm... I wonder if I am the only Earthling here.' He thought.
Aezir continued to battle with beasts and kill his way to the village. He did not fight other advanced beasts since they are in a different direction. He did not want to delay his homecoming. "Finally!" He exclaimed. After battling a series of beasts, his mark finally turned Violet.
[Great! Now, place your hand over Fluff and return to her what is rightfully hers.]
Aezir did what he was told and placed his hand over Fluff.
"Kyuu..." Fluff said in comfort as she basked under the Essence from Aezir. Technically, it was hers and was only contained in the Mark. "Kyu!" Fluff shouted in joy when the process ended.
<Congratulations, Fluff. You are already an Intermediate Violet Beast!>
<Kya! Thank you, papa!>
[Sir, do I level as well? I don't feel any changes.]

'I'm so excited!' Aezir thought. Aezir continued his journey full of happiness. He cannot wait to level up. After a while of walking, they finally reached the village.
