章節 71: Ghost Town

Somewhere around the outskirts of Illinois, they passed what appears to be a ghost town.

A disgusting concrete sprawl that looked like it could be anywhere in the world. Houses were unkempt, graffiti crusted buildings stretched high into the rusty red sky. The street was filthy with trash and worse.

What perfect timing, that they ended up there right when the sun went down.

Nate was slick with sweat all down his back, darkening his brown dress shirt. The sleeves rolled up to his elbow with two buttons popped open since midday earlier. His collar bones peeked out, teasing her further with the sliver of muscled chest underneath.

Keira brushed her long bangs, and then decided to be done with it. She pulled out her hair tie, making a messy bun high on her head.

The tall, sweaty man was staring at her. Particularly at her revealed neck. He wasn't the only one with beads of sweat rolling down the skin.

"What?"
