"Cleo," I whispered softly.
"Oh, Elsie. I'm so sorry." He hugged me and spilled his longing from the hug while I was still filled with doubt in returning his hug.
Gradually, I raised my hand and wrapped it around Cleo's back, patting her gently. There was a warm current that mingled with my blood as our bodies collided with each other. Something I've been missing about my twin sister since she disappeared away to pursue her studies in Connecticut.
"I miss you, Cleo," I whispered softly, spilling my tears of longing for her so that they soaked her coat.
Cleopatra let go of her arms and took a seat. The line on his face showed that he really regretted what had happened to me. But I don't want him to make me feel like I need pity. It wasn't what I wanted even though I was at a difficult point right now.
"Do you know? I'm willing to cancel my exam to see you here, Elsie," she whispered, then took my hand and put it on one cheek.
