"Kathleen," said Marylou as she walked over to Kathleen. The girl stopped playing the piano, then looked back at her sister.
"Yes?"
"Maybe… I'll quit my world," Marylou muttered doubtfully. "And we're moving to Germany."
There was a soft thump from within Kathleen's chest at her sister's brief decision. "But why?"
Marylou let out a short breath. "I want to throw away the bad memories here. We start a new life by opening a small business. How?"
Deep down in Kathleen's heart, she agreed with her sister's plan not to keep doing things she didn't like. But on the other hand, she doesn't want to be far from Devon.
"Are you sure?" Kathleen asked for sure. A little worried.
Suddenly, Marylou laughed out loud and lightly smacked her sister's arm. It was enough to make Kathleen frown in confusion. Marylou burst out laughing, pointing at her sister as if she were looking at a clown so that the contents of the wine in her glass dripped on the floor.
"You have a very serious face, Cait," joked Marylou as she wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes, and stopped laughing at that. In Kathleen's mind, she believed her sister was drunk. "Of course not! Where would I leave my world! I will persist and prove that I am not that easily crushed!" She laughed again. "How was my acting? There was a film producer who offered me a role as an innocent girl who was always sad."
Hearing her sister's confession, Kathleen frowned in annoyance. She turned around again to continue playing the piano.
"Damn it, I thought you meant it," she snorted in annoyance, to which Marylou responded with a bubbling laugh.
Of course, it occurred to me, Marylou thought in the middle of her fake laugh. But she can't be selfish by forcing Kathleen to leave Kensington.
