Lily washed under the shower in her bathroom. After weeks of not coming home to her apartment, enjoying a bath in her bathroom felt very refreshing.
She sighed after she finished washing her body. After that, she then got out of her shower box and stepped into the mirror. She looked at her reflection in the mirror.
"My God, my eyes are like pandas," Lily said when she saw her reflection in the mirror. She then applied the cream under her eyes and face. After that, she went out to her room.
Lily lay on her bed and opened her cell phone to reread her research. She giggled while seeing the results of her study, which could be tested on Matthew. "See you soon, Matthew."
"I'm going to bed early tonight," Lily muttered. She then turned off her cell phone and placed it on the table next to her bed. After that, she started to close her eyes.
"Lily." Lily had just closed her eyes for a moment when suddenly her cell phone rang. Lily immediately grabbed her cell phone and answered the call without opening her eyes.
"Looks like I disturbed your sleep again."
Lily immediately opened her eyes when she heard Ryan's voice. "Ryan? What's wrong? So sudden."
Ryan chuckled. "Are you sleeping?"
Lily giggled. "You always show up when I want to sleep."
"Can you come out for a bit?"
Lily's eyes widened. She quickly got out of bed and walked to her bedroom window. She laughed while shaking his head when she saw Ryan standing across the street from her apartment.
Ryan waved his hand while smiling at Lily. "Nice to see you, Lily. You're not going to let me freeze here, are you?"
Lily chuckled. "I'll let you freeze in there."
"Oh, please. I've come a long way to see you," Ryan said.
Lily laughed again. "Wait a moment." She then hung up the phone with Ryan.
Ryan smiled at Lily, who closed her bedroom window again. Meanwhile, Lily immediately rushed down from her apartment. She had almost fallen asleep. But now, she suddenly became excited after seeing Ryan.

Ryan smiled broadly at Lily, who walked up to him. "There you go."
Lily shook her head as she stood in front of Ryan. "You are truly beyond expectation. Why did you come all the way here?"
"Do you forget? You still have my shirt," Ryan replied.
Lily nodded her head. "I guess the weeks in the lab made me forgetful. Forgive me. You want to come in?"
"With pleasure," Ryan replied.
"Come on," said Lily.
Ryan then walked after Lily to her apartment. He smiled behind Lily, who was walking in front of him. She still looked not much different from the last time he remembered. Lily's blue eyes still enchant him. Even though those eyes looked tired, it didn't decrease Lily's charm in his eyes.

"Sorry, it looks messy. I just got back from the laboratory," Lily said as she opened the door to her apartment. "Please come in."
Ryan nodded slowly and walked into Lily's apartment. He then noticed the situation inside Lily's apartment. He chuckled at Lily's apartment, which didn't have much furniture. In the main room of Lily's apartment, there is a big sofa facing a large screen television.
A bar table separated the main room from the kitchen on the other side. Lily seemed never to touch her kitchen. Ryan chuckled as he looked at Lily. "When was the last time you were in the kitchen?"
"Newly. To get drinking water," answered Lily.
Ryan giggled after hearing Lily's words. "Have you ever cooked?"
Lily shrugged. "I can call the delivery service."
"You must be too busy that never cook yourself," Ryan said.
"I also spend most of my time in the laboratory," said Lily.
"If you leave me here, I can cook for you," Ryan said.
"I have no groceries."
Ryan glanced at his watch. "It's not too late to buy ingredients for dinner."
Lily played with her eyeballs. She then smiled at Ryan. "Wait a minute. I'll get my jacket first. I'm suddenly hungry." She then walked into her room.
"I should have brought wine here," Ryan muttered after Lily returned to her room. While waiting for Lily to come out of her room, Ryan walked toward Lily's kitchen.
He looked at the cooking utensils in Lily's kitchen. "As it turns, she never really touched the kitchen." Ryan took a deep breath when he saw that Lily's fridge was only filled with pickled cucumbers, cheese, and a few cans of beer.
"At least she still has beer," Ryan said.
"Let's go," said Lily.
Ryan immediately turned to Lily. The woman was already wearing a light gray jacket and a black beanie hat. Ryan immediately approached Lily. "Let me drive."
"Okay." Lily immediately gave Ryan her car keys. "You're the one who asked me to go grocery shopping after all."
The two then walked out of Lily's apartment. They walked side by side along the corridor of Lily's apartment until they reached the parking lot. Occasionally, Ryan glanced at Lily and teased her.
Lily couldn't stop laughing at Ryan, who kept on teasing her. She held her stomach in pain because he heard Ryan's jokes. The man's made Lily laughs out loud.

"What kind of food do you like?" Ryan asked as he and Lily entered the shopping center.
Lily muttered under her breath before answering Ryan's question. "I love all foods. It's just that I have a slight allergy to peanuts. My face can swell if I accidentally eat peanuts or products that contain peanuts."
Ryan nodded his head. "I'll keep that in mind. By the way, how's your bear?"
Lily turned to Ryan with a big smile. "He's why I didn't come home from the lab."
"You seem very happy?"
Lily immediately nodded her head. "I'm thrilled. Today I demonstrated my serum."
"Was the result good?"
"If the results weren't good, I wouldn't be here with you," Lily replied.
"Judging from your face, the results must be outstanding? Right?" Ryan asked.
Lily laughed softly. "Perhaps soon I will be able to wake my long-sleeping bear."
"Next, what will you do if you have woken up your beloved bear?"
Lily shrugged. "I don't know yet what I'll do if he finally manages to wake up. I haven't thought about it yet."
"We can think about that later," Ryan said.
Lily nodded her head.
"How about tonight we celebrate the success of your serum?"
"Hmmm. That's not a bad idea," said Lily. "But, don't let me drink too much."
Ryan laughed after hearing Lily's words. "Then we'll have a little drink at your place. So, if you're drunk, I don't have to bother with taking you. I can just put you in your room and lock it."
Lily laughed too after hearing Ryan's words. "Okay."
