Casterly Rock, Westerlands, 10th moon of 276 AC
Tywin "pov"
Tywin Lannister wasn't in a good mood; this tournament was a failure; the only reason why he threw this tournament was to have the perfect opportunity to ask the King for a marriage between the Silver Prince and Cersei, the King had refused him, which although undesirable was a possible outcome. Still, the way the King did it was humiliating; he spat on his house pride, " You are my most able servant, Tywin, but a man does not marry his heir to his servant's daughter." He said. Tywin had asked himself several times what he did to earn the king's disdain; he served for years; he was disrespected and insulted, yet he kept serving the realm; there was still hope for House Lannister; if he was patient, he could manage put his grandchildren on the throne.
The only good thing about this Tournament was the arrival of a man capable of forging Valyrian Steel; the man was strange; he walked and talked as if he feared no one, and although he respected everyone, from the lowest of the servants to the King himself, his presence was condescending to the core. It matters not, at least not for Tywin; the only thing he wanted from the man was a Valyrian Steel Sword, a weapon worthy of his legacy. Tywin wanted to bring the man to the Westerlands and make him a bannerman of his, but the passionate way he spoke of the north made clear that nothing he offered would work; not even all the Lannister women naked in a giant golden tray would work.
As Tywin was musing his options, his brother Kevan walked into his solar with the reports he had asked for earlier; Kevan placed the Papers on his desk and said
" The Skagossi party will be leaving the city on the morrow; according to the spies, Lord Dovahkiin wants to leave the south as soon as he can."
Tywin waited for three seconds and then said
" Do you know if the Mormont woman will accompany him to Skagos? We must secure a Lannister bride for the man at all costs; the benefits of having this man as kin are numerous, and I can't think of one detriment. He is resourceful and a good ruler; his land is already ready for winter; according to Gerion, he is the greatest warrior in the realm; the men either fear or respect him, and the servants love him. This kind of man is extremely dangerous."
" The spies have no information on that, but I don't think she will; the winter in the north is harsh, not many of its lords can afford to cross the continent just for the sake of it," Kevan replied.
" Hum, we don't know the extent of Dovahkiin's wealth; he has whalers ships, but we don't know how many; he has battleships to protect his whalers ships, but again, we don't know how many. These spies are useless, my disappointment is unmeasurable, and my plans are ruined, for I don't have enough information to make a good plan. Why must they fail me so often?… Go and get spies in Skagos; they must be good; I want a reliable Spy network there by the end of next year." Tywin said his voice was emotionless and but his eyes showed how pissed he was.
" I will see it done, my lord," Kevan answered calmly; he was also worried about the new Northern Lord but chose to let Tywin take care of it.
"Good, before you get to your errands, tell someone to get Dovahkiin here. I want to open negotiations today." Tywin said as he began to read his reports
"Yes, my lord," Kevan replied

Ragnar "pov"
Ragnar Dovahkiin was in a great mood; this tournament was a victory for him; he manege to accomplish most things he wanted; he made a name in the south and established himself as the greatest warrior in the realm. Ragnar even managed to find a potential wife for him; she was of the north, which would help him solidify his position in the North; she was fun to be around, she was a shield-maiden, and the most important thing: she was HOT, 6ft of pure juiciness and thickness.
Ragnar was preparing for his trip back north; he expected Tywin to summon him anytime; he knew Tywin wouldn't just let an opportunity like this slip through his hands
" My Lord, a servant said Lord Lannister is asking for you. They say he's waiting for you on his solar. A Lannister guard will accompany you there if you are willing to go." Said Davos.
"Aye, I shall see Lord Tywin now. You may stay here if you wish, Davos; the trip will be long, and we will ride on the morrow." Ragnar said

Tywin Lannister's solar was, in Ragnar's opinion, an excellent place to hold meaningful conversations, one entry and one exit, one window, not one possible place for spies to hide.
When Ragnar arrived to talk to Tywin, he was seated on his chair while signing some documents, once he saw the dragon lord he decided to be direct. This was a man of the north, as blunt as a wooden sword.
"Greetings, wine?" Tywin said.
" I don't drink wine." Ragnar replied
" What do you drink?" Tywin said impatiently as he poured some wine for himself
"Not wine," Ragnar replied humorously.
"You know why you are here, and you know what I want from you. What are your terms?" Tywin said calmly, his eyes as cold as the Skagos's soil.
" It depends; what kind of sword do you want? Bastard sword, a short sword, a long sword, a great sword?" Ragnar replied.
" A great sword obviously, worthy of my house legacy." Tywin answered.
"Well you see…

The negotiations went smoothly for both sides, Tywin would get his great-sword in 4 moons, and Ragnar would get his cattle and gold by the same time.
Ragnar and Tywin wrote a contract stipulating the terms and consequences in case of foul play and signed it.

Skagos, The North, 12th moon of 276 AC.
Ragnar had just arrived in Skagos; his ride back north was uneventful; the bear scared off most hostile wildlife, and they had the luck of not meeting any bandits of the Kingsroad, which was good for Ragnar and his household.
The people welcomed him and his household with respect. Midstinul was there as well; it was customary of him to welcome Ragnar back every time he went away.
" Drem yol lok, Dovahkiin, your subjects kept the peace as was expected of them; some spies tried to get into the land but were stopped by me. I faithfully followed your commands and aided your steward to manage your lands. I held court in your name and burned the guilty as you instructed." Midstinul said in dovahzul and Ragnar smiled at him
" Drem yol lok, Midstinul, your loyalty is commendable, as is your dedication to me and my cause, and I know that, like me, sometimes you miss the good company of our kin… that's why I have a mission for you," Ragnar said calmly in Dovahzul
"Geh Dovahkiin, sometimes I miss the company of another Dovah, these skies, although beautiful and vast, are void of worthy fliers. What is the mission you have for me, thuri?" replied Midstinul
" I need you to locate and dominate an Ice Dragon on the shivering sea. Please bring a female here. I intend to bond its eggs to a bloodline, as the Targaryen did with the Valyrian dragons. Maybe you could even find it worthy of being your mate. I know the tamrielic dragons are all males, but who knows." Ragnar replied
" Geh, a worthy mission, I shall see it done Dovahkiin. It's been a long time since I conquered another dragon… our battle will be more than legendary! I shall bring a female dragon to you, thuri. Having more dragons is always good," Midstinul said
" Good, I'll let you to your devices. I have many things to do now that winter is coming." Ragnar replied.
" Let's go, Davos. We have many things to do." Ragnar said to Davos, who was waiting for him a few feet away.
" I'm still not used to this dragon of yours… he's almost the size of a whale… not a leviathan but still huge… and it talks," Davos said, and Ragnar laughed.
" Let the old dragon be Davos; he's one of my most loyal friends… his customs are just different from yours. He's a dragon, after all." Ragnar said as he began to walk towards Castle Volkihar.

A/N: First chapter of the day guys! Ragnar is back in Skagos and now the golden age of Skagos will begin… in the heart of winter!!
Thank you.
Btw some of you are asking why the mad king didn't get angry about House's Dovahkiin sigil. The answer is that he doesn't care. There are other houses with Dragons on their sigils
