He made sure to secure the a particular part of the ruin, the part with the room to be exact, and he did so by cutting it completely off and burying it deep underground somewhere else, a place nobody would ever think of going to.

The other rulers and monarchs were beyond shocked when they saw him come out of the ruins unscathed, but didn't see any sign of the other person that when in to kill him, and no matter how it looked, they could tell something was different about him. Anybody at all could tell, and the stronger the other party was, the clearer it was just how much more mystery lied within Eir.
