Song Ci found out about the incident days later. Lu Gan accidentally let it slip during a video call. 

"You're still quite swift and decisive..."

Lu Gan heaved a sigh of relief. 

"I was worried that you would be displeased with me for interfering in your affairs."

Song Ci smiled and said, "Why would you think that way? I'm Yujin's sister and you're his brother-in-law. It's normal for us to have different solutions to an issue. As long as you don't go against Yujin's wishes, I'll be fine."

Everyone expressed their love in different ways. If Song Ci had Lu Gan's wealth and social status, she might have done the same as him. 

Lu Gan looked at the moon outside. 

"Anyway, you're right. Yujin really doesn't care about these things. When they came, he didn't even want to see them. To him, it was a waste of time."

"I'm sure he's happy since you're trying to help him."

Upon hearing those words, Lu Gan smiled.
