"Why are you so late?! The ice inside the cup almost melted and ruined the taste of this drink." Lady Prescilla complained.

"I apologized for it, Lady Cladine."

When the young lady lifts her head, she happens to meet Penelope's gaze. In an instant, her regretful face turned sharp and full of anger. And that piqued Penelope's interest.

'You haven't changed at all, Emilia. You are still the same, huh?'

Lady Prescilla noticed the way how her new maid looks at Penelope. She has no idea what is their relationship. In fact, she is still unfamiliar with Emilia. This maid just appeared out of nowhere as a replacement for her previous maid who resigned because of health reasons.

"Do you know her?" Lady Prescilla cannot help but ask.

"No." Penelope replied calmly.

Of course, Lady Prescilla did not believe her.

"We need to go now." Penelope said. "Finnea and I still have important things to do."
