Oh, she was bad, bad news. Ezra thought as his eyes followed the movement her tongue made. Her blue eyes were heavy-lidded and for a brief moment, he wished they were alone. Hidden from the hawk eyes of his classmates where he could give her exactly what she asked for. He itched to rip off the cursed romper and show her things James Dallas could never. The thought of James Dallas fawning over her woke him up from his indulgence. 

"Let me get this straight," he repeated, irritated with himself. "There was nothing between us, there is nothing between us now and there will be nothing between us ever." 

"Buurrrnnnnnn." A group of guys behind them chorused, clapping and hooting like a pack of owls. Ezra fixed them a glare that silenced them and walked out of the class, heart thumping wildly in his chest.
