章節 15: Funeral

Juliette paced back and forth anxiously inside her room. Her lacy sleepwear flapped as she moved.

"Today is the day," she mumbled repeatedly.

She wanted to see her father one last time, but the problem was, how was she gonna convince Luca to let her attend?

Luca had reminded her again and again that he would never allow her to attend the funeral.

Luca only allowed three days for John Ervings' employees to attend his wake, and then he decided to bury him right after the three days.

Juliette wasn't allowed to attend her father's wake nor lament his passing, and if she's still not allowed to attend his burial, she's gonna lose her mind.

When a series of knocks rumbled on her door, she quickly opened it only to see the confused Salvatore. She had called his attention, and Salvatore had no idea why.

"You called for me, Miss Ervings?"

"Where is your boss? I need to talk to him."

"He's out doing some business."
