章節 528: 515: Wyatt Wright Rae Side Story: Postpartum Illness

On the third day after Rae Bennett's cesarean section, Rae started to run a high fever. Due to her poor immune system, the incision became infected, necessitating anti-inflammatory treatment and antibiotic therapy.

A day passed, and when the fever still would not subside, she had to undergo debridement and a second suturing. Because of multiple abnormal body indices, Rae was admitted to the Critical Care Room that very night after her wound was cleaned.

She stayed in intensive care for two days before being transferred back to her original ward.

During Rae's two days in the Critical Care Room, Wyatt stood watch outside, completely neglecting Elijah.

Miss Watson got in touch with Skye Piers and managed to secure the empty VIP room next door. During the day, Miss Watson would take Elijah to see Rae, and at night, she would sleep in the neighboring room with Elijah.

Rae was very lethargic on account of the prolonged high fever, spending most of her time in a drowsy state.
