Rae Bennett hung up the phone, by then Matthew James had already lost everything and left dejectedly. Mr. Yeats nodded towards Rae Bennett and then followed Matthew James out.

Rae Bennett played a couple rounds of poker, found it uninteresting, and went to the bar to order a drink.

She wasn't a great drinker, but she wasn't drunk after a few glasses either, just a bit unsteady on her feet, a bit excited in her head.

When she came out of the casino, a taxi stopped beside her. The driver asked where she was going, but she ignored him and kept walking along the sidewalk.

She wasn't waiting for Wyatt Wright; she just wanted to sober up.

She stopped at an alley entrance and watched a couple fighting.

"Where's my money?"

The man pushed the woman away, saying harsh words with great anger, "What money?"

The woman was heavily pregnant, and aside from her round belly, she was quite thin: "The money I hid under the bed."

The man argued back: "How should I know?"
