“Your third degree questionnaire can wait. Am I the only one who was not aware of my own engagement party?” Lia laughed.

“Take it as a glimpse of great things ahead. Your mother-in-law and hubby did all the heavy lifting. I am so jealous. Being waited on hand and foot! Little Lia does not even have to think. You have people for that now,” Dawn asserted with a laugh.

“Come, let’s go meet Mr. Nash, in person.” Lia took her sisters hand and led her across the ballroom in search of Ryan.

“He stepped outside,” her new assistant, Grace, informed her when she asked about Ryan’s where abouts.

“Oh, by the way, your baby sister, has a personal assistant now,” Lia whispered to her sister and giggled.

“Who would have thought that poor old me would have their own assistant? I don’t even have Siri. Now, I have my own human assistant!” she added as Dawn looked on with admiration.
