  Hours later, Maine woke up and she realized that she was in the infirmary room. It was empty of any patient except for the presence of two prefects, sitting in the bed beside hers. 

Jomar and Clarin were talking in hushed tone of voice as if their topic was a taboo for anyone's ears. 

"What time is it?" Maine asked in hoars tone of voice, finally getting the attention of Clarin and Jomar on the bed.

They immediately sprang up to her direction, almost like a mother and father to a daughter. It was even funny for Maine how they actually looked like a seasoned husband and wife together.

"Are you feeling fine?" Clarin was the first one to ask as soon as she reached the bed.

"Yeah. I think my throat isn't well just yet." Maine said, her voice rasping on her throat.

"Do you want something to drink? A water?" Jomar suggested.
