"What did you guys want to buy? You can stop and come back." Ardor looked at Isabella and Alse as they nodded and weakly stood up, having to take support from the walls as they approached him.
"We just wanted to sell your slave and collect enough money for Isabella. Maybe even get a Soul Flower if it's cheap." Alse looked on the stage, "But clearly, it's not."
Alse's aura surged from her body and formed a thin layer over her clothes. She also waved her hands and an ethereal palm appeared in the air and covered the spot where she had done the deed.
Ardor didn't understand what she did, but after her brown aura receded, he noticed her clothes were once again dry and her fluids disappeared from her sofa.
Isabella did something similar. But Ardor couldn't see it in the darkness. One moment he saw her eyes close in concentration, and her face tense up and next moment, her clothes were dry and her sofa dried up as well.
"What's your attribute?" he asked her as she sat on his left.
Isabella looked at him with unknown satisfaction. "Its shadow," she muttered.
Ardor nodded. "No wonder I couldn't see anything." He asked Alse on his right, "And you?"
"Earth, and the main family has Stone."
His eyes narrowed. "So you're from a branch family?"
"Yes," she replied.
Ardor understood the waters were already this deep in Westray with multiple noble clans, their branch families, and wondered how chaotic it would be in the Capital City. He looked at the timers floating in his vision and thought, 'Only a few minutes left.'
He stood up and put Jeanne on the ground. "Let's leave," he said to the women.
Before he left the room, he faintly heard Ella, "Now this is our last Soul Flower! Guests, it's your last chance to get the talent for a mage! Now we'll start this…"
Ardor smirked, knowing the owner of the third flower would bleed the most. He sent some orders to Lance and left.
They collected their money from the reception and left the auction house in their parked carriage. Ardor gave two platinum coins to Alse and kept the rest of the 17 platinum coins after a 5% fee by the auction house.
Just before Isabella's obedience timer expired, he ordered her, "You will forget the details of everything that happened here. You will have false memories according to your imagination.
"Jeanne was given as a gift to me from the guest in room V-6 as a gesture of goodwill to the Flame's. You will not have any evil intent towards me. Every time you think of me, the immense pleasure you felt back there would appear, pushing you to a climax. Sleep now. Sink these thoughts into your subconscious."
Isabella nodded and dozed off.
'Even though I can't have their permanent obedience, it's still possible to manipulate them like this. How nice!'
Jeanne looked at his actions in confusion, but he simply smiled with love. 'Looks like it's not the right time to tell me.' She thought with confidence in her lover.
Once Alse's obedience timer was about to expire, Ardor told her something similar. The carriage soon reached the Flame estate, and the duo left for their house, while Alse and Isabella left for theirs.
It was midnight, and they saw owls staring at their figures, perched on tree branches as they walked.
"They're spooky." Jeanne hugged his arm as she muttered.
Feeling the twin mountains pressing against him, Ardor smiled and responded, "Then should I send them away?"
"Its fine. How else can I openly hold your arm?"
Ardor glanced at the eyes of his minx and wanted to take a bite of those supple lips. He immediately started walking faster, eager to return to his house.
Jeanne almost stumbled and fell after his speed changed. "What's your problem? Why can't I hold your arm?" She stood in place, huffing, staring at his figure.
Ardor stopped to look back in apology. He wondered why he sometimes took impulsive decisions around her, as if she carried a negative IQ buff, affecting only him. He honestly answered, "I wanted to reach there faster." His eyes filled with desire as he let her know of it. "I want you to hold more than just my arm!"
She looked at his little brother, and he nodded. Jeanne broke into a smile as she began running. As she passed by him, he saw her cheeky face turn back, and say, "Whoever reaches last is a loser in bed!"
Ardor's gaze immediately became dangerous as he broke into a run, intentionally surpassing her just when the entrance to their courtyard came into view. He turned back after entering his courtyard and caught hold of Jeanne, who crashed into him.
"Looks like I won!" he smirked.
Her arms weakly hit his chest. "You meanie! Couldn't you let me win just one time?"
"You're right," he nodded. As Jeanne looked up at his mesmerizing eyes, he added, "I'll give you another chance to prove I'm a loser in bed!"
Before she could protest, he lifted her up and ran to his bedroom, and a big battle began. A battle for supremacy!
…
"When will he come?" Lance wondered as he sat in a private room at The Silent Goat after leaving the auction house.
"Who are you waiting for, young master?" the maid, now gifted to him, asked coyly as she lay in his arms. "Why didn't you go all the way with me?" she asked in slight confusion. "Am I not good enough?"
Lance looked at her. As someone chosen to serve at the VIP auction, her looks and figure were one in thousands. Naturally, she was pretty. 'It's not that I don't want to do you. I need his permission first.' He remembered Ardor's words.
"You're good enough. Don't doubt yourself." His words rose her confidence. "But I first need to talk to the one who asked me to wait here." He smiled as he added, "Until then, let me make you feel good."
Soft moans resounded as he played with her, as he already learned of her weak spot's back at the auction.
As one with an unbalanced emotional scale, his lust grew continuously and shaped his personality. He looked at his little brother, creating a visible bulge in his pink tuxedo pants, and inwardly thanked his main body.
'If you didn't have such a magnificent little brother, a clone like me wouldn't have it either. Would it not be a stain if I were to reveal something beneath my status to a female partner in bed?' he thought. He suddenly looked at the door after feeling someone approach.
Creak…
The door opened as someone walked in. Lance stared at the intruder vigilantly, then relaxed after seeing Ardor sit down opposite to him.
Ardor stared at the maid moaning with an ahegao face and raised his brows, but didn't comment. He took his Crimson King's First Record from Lance and relaxed in his seat.
He held his aching waist in thought, 'She was too fierce! If not for me being slightly more capable, she would have won the title!' He remembered the mess they made, not at all sorry that she'd have to clean it up the next day. 'I need to get stronger before she can surpass me!'
He looked at the crimson book in his hands. 'This can probably help me. But I first need to get something like a Soul Flower, but for martial talent.'
He had plans to strengthen Jeanne as well, but all those plans would start after the event in the Capital.
"So, what are you doing with her?" he asked as Lance as he put down the book.
Lance initially wanted to boast about getting a new girl before him, but didn't want to joke to his original about something as important as this. The maid now woke up from her rapture and looked at the unfamiliar man whom Lance seemed to respect.
"The wicked people gifted her to me, seeing how wet she was as she left the room with me. Now, I can't just leave her alone like this, right?" he responded sheepishly.
Ardor knew it was all a ploy for the young maid. But since he found it funny, he played along.
"Yes, you did the right thing. But you know she can't come with us. How about you," he made an action of slitting his throat, "do this, then we can get back to our important work?"
Lance looked surprised, as he didn't anticipate such a response. But remembering how Ardor was from his memories, he understood it was normal.
"But…" he hesitated as he looked into the maid's now frightened eyes. "Is it really necessary to go so far?"
Tears fell from the maid's eyes after seeing Ardor's stone cold face. She had thought she was out of the tiger's den, but didn't expect falling into a heartless demon's grasp.
