Grandma Qi stood rooted to the ground. The more she thought about it, the more far-fetching her imagination became, until she was practically envisioning the blissful marriage between Su Xiaonai and Ji Anren.

With a layer of sweat on her forehead, she quickly took out her cell phone and dialed Qi Lingyan's number. A few seconds later, he answered.

"Hey, is something up, Grandmother?"

Hearing her grandson Qi Lingyan's calm tone, the old lady became even more upset. She had expected better from him.

"Your wife is gonna be abducted."

Qi Lingyan was confused at first, but then he realized that the old lady was referring to Su Xiaonai. He was speechless.

"What abduction? Also, she's not my wife."

Qi Lingyan's calmness made the old lady's chest tight.

"You brat! If you don't cherish this relationship when you should, you'll regret it sooner or later."
