Cherish, however, gently touched his cheek, her fingers dancing on his skin, her gaze serious as never before. Noticing the caution in William's eyes, she smiled and said in the softest voice, "I won't marry you, but, I won't leave you either."

Her eyes seemed to sparkle even in the darkness of night, a brightness that left William unable to look away.

"Hmm, sticking with you without a title...I'm just afraid that you'll grow tired of me first, and then what will I do?"
