章節 50: Chapter 50 : Straight Carnage
Seven started walking over to Duri, saying, "Is he.."
Tek sat up, and responded to Seven, "That bastard..right there…killed Duri.."
Ferrow was watching everyone, and everyone looked at him.
Chaos said, "No.."
Kazuma exclaimed, "Duri!!"
Jiyu said, "H-he can't be dead..he's s-trong.."
Nine uttered to Ferrow, "I'm gonna kill you, bitch."
Shiryu commented, "Oh..no…Duri is dead..we have to..avenge him."
Xenon had a straight face, he had no reaction to this at all.
Sith scoffed, "Hehh? He killed Duri?? I'll be enjoying this slicing! Kehh..kehh..keh..keh.."
Xenon said to Chaos, "Chaos. You're fucked up badly. Get everyone to a safe place. Me and Sith will kill Ferrow."
Chaos replied, "Hell no…I'm fighting this guy with you guys!"
"No. Take everyone and go."
"Xenon.."
"Go! Chaos. It's funny…you're the joking type..seeing you like this is comedic. Trying to be a hero..when you already are one. Take my advice, and go."
"...Alright."
Seven exclaimed, "No! I'm not going anywhere until this bastard is dead! He killed Duri..Duri called my arm cool…and as far as I'm concerned..I never felt this way about anyone..I mean um..it's not like I liked Duri or anything…but..he's different from regular boys. And this bastard killed him..he deserves to die."
Everyone else said:
Kazuma: "That's right! He's a bad man!"
Jiyu: "I need to s-stay..Duri was my fr-friend…"
Shiryu: "Has anyone…seen my sister Espen?.."
Suddenly, Seven, Kazuma, Shiryu, Jiyu, Nine, Chaos, Voel, Mifu, and Tek vanished, and they all were in the cube barrier in the sky.
Seven said, "What?"
She ran to the wall of the barrier, and she was looking down at the building they were just in.
She said, "Duri.."
All the other students were looking through the clear wall, looking over the city too.
Ren-Ren and Espen were leaning against the wall, with bandages and scars all over them, and Kazuma was squeezing and hugging the both of them, saying, "I'm so glad you two are safe! I was worried about my two friends!"
Ren-Ren said, "Get…off..me."
Espen muttered, "Do you need to squeeze so hard? And where is my brother Shiryu?"
Shiryu was walking up to Espen, saying, "I'm…right here. I'm glad you are alive. But....Duri is dead."
It got quiet in the entire cube barrier, all 98 students stopped talking when Shiryu said that, and some of the hosts started getting quiet.
A student said, "What?"
Other students commented:
"Duri..is dead?"
"No way.."
"Oh shit.."
"How is…Marshy gonna react?"
"Woohoo! Duri is gone! Wooohooo! That's one less murderer off this planet!"
Everyone looked at the one student who said that, looking at him like there was something wrong with him.
Seven was getting angry, walking up to the student, saying, "The fuck did you just say?"
Nine had to hold her back, and some other Hosts had to hold Seven back. Seven wanted to kill that student, and the student was getting scared.
Another student said, "We despised Duri for killing Katai. I…and a few other students have overheard the conversations of the bad guys that were out there. Katai was the main leader's son..we don't know too much..but Katai was also a bad person.."
Another student added, "Those guys kept spouting out Reborn and Harvest…apparently they're the survivors of a destroyed realm, and they wanna rule over all the realms..with a man named Reborn as the king I think…and Katai was going to be at the right hand of Reborn."
Some of the students gasped, and Seven calmed down.
Ren-Ren asked, "Does anyone know why the hell they want our souls?"
Everyone shook their heads, and Seven asked, "Tek…why did that man want Duri? When I walked in on you three, it looked personal. And I have a good mentality for discerning situations."
Everyone looked at Tek, who was leaning against the wall, looking down on the destroyed city.
He said, "That man..was Katai's father. He wanted Duri's soul so he could bring Katai back from the dead. And before any of you start talking shit about Duri, just know he protected me multiple times. I never liked the kid, but he was alright..I'd call him..a true rival."
Tek started to remember the time when Duri kicked Tek out of the way of an incoming attack, that day when they fought Kain and Jain. And Tek started reminiscing when he and Duri were beating up Odyn, and he started to think about when he and Duri were double teaming Ferrow just a few minutes ago.
Tek sighed, and continued, "He says he's not a hero. That fool fought to protect all of you. The ones who are secretly despising Duri should be ashamed of themselves. Oi…Espen..are there any idiots thinking bad about Duri right now?"
Espen answered, "A few."
"Hmph. Idiots."
….
….
…
….
One student asked, "What is Harvest? They kept repeating that over and over…"
It was quiet, then more students were asking the same thing, mentioning that the prophets kept repeating "Harvest."
Then a Host said, "...At first, we were keeping this from you all. We didn't want to cause panic within the school system, especially within the students. Harvest was a realm that was destroyed by the Arcane realm many years ago..and these people that are attacking us are the survivors from that attack. They are trying to raise their leader, Reborn, from the dead, and create hybrid children to build his army."
Someone asked, "Why do they need us? They can just make some within their own people!"
"Hybrids born with the mix of human and another race will instantly make that child stronger than its parents' pure race combined."
"Whoa.."
Other students said:
"First Zabel..now Harvest and Reborn?"
"This world is going under.."
"I still can't believe Duri is actually dead.."
"Did anyone see what Seven turned into earlier? It might just be me.."
"At first I thought this was a part of the exam.."
Seven was looking through the clear barrier wall, watching Xenon and Sith fight Ferrow, and seeing Kedarah and Tetsuya and a bunch of other Hosts hold back a wave of blood. There were no more prophets down there, they were all dead.
Some other students were watching this, talking about the fight and about the waves of blood.
Nine was walking up to Seven, asking, "Seven…you had feelings for Duri…didn't you..?"
Seven sighed, replying, "You're just now figuring it out?"
"..Why though? He was strong and protective I know..but he was a brute."
"Yeah he was a brute. But the side of him wanting to protect the people around him, while also being a coldblooded and mean ass boy, it just made me feel some type of way. He even said my robot arm was cool..when I was bullied in school for it when I was little..no one complimented me for it. This was the first compliment I got. I noticed his drive..his passion for wanting to get stronger..and it inspired me too. That I should ignore the handicap, and just…go."
"Seven.."
"You didn't even like Duri, did you?"
"He matched my energy of bashing heads in. Of course I'd taken an interest in him. I was wrong about him just being a murderer..seeing you stand up for someone…meant something. Knowing how you are..you don't even do that for people…but this meant something."
"Yeah it did. But now..Duri is gone. And there was nothing we could do.."
Standing on the other side of Seven, was Jiyu.
Jiyu said, "I-If only I was a little stronger..we would've been there quicker to help h-him.."
"But think about it. Even if we went there..could we really protect him?"
Jiyu and Nine didn't know how to respond to that.
Over on the other side, Tek was tapping his foot on the floor, thinking heavily, leaning against the wall.
'I couldn't beat Ferrow. Me…nor Duri. I thought I could for sure win…I've never lost a fight before. Not once. Where the hell do I go from here? My uncle…he's pretty strong himself..what if I can't beat him..?'
Tek looked to his right, and he saw Kazuma, Ren-Ren, Espen, and Shiryu sitting in silence. They looked discouraged, scared, anxious, and hurt.
Kazuma thought, 'Duri…I'm sorry. I hope I wasn't too annoying when you were alive. I'm gonna destroy that bad man when I get all my energy back, bro! I'll avenge you.'
Ren-Ren thinks, 'How could that idiot Duri get himself killed like that? Dammit…that just forces me to feel bad..and I have to do something about it.'

In Xenon's domain, Takeguri's back slammed onto a white building, and he sat up quickly.
He said, "Haha! Still got that fierceness in you! I love it! How bout we go on another date?! Better yet, how about we start over?!"
Marshy was falling towards him, and Takeguri started to spin fast, and red and black slashes shot out from all areas of his body.
The slashes were headed straight for Marshy.
Marshy did 360 flips while spinning her Excalibur scythe around and around, and the scythe destroyed the slashes instantly.
Everytime Marshy swung her weapon, the entire domain would shake, and multiple buildings would crumble at once.
Takeguri laughed, "I'm falling in love with you alllll over again!"
Marshy screamed, "Shut up!!!! I'll kill you!!! I'll kill all of you!!!"
Hovering behind Marshy's back, coming from the blade of her scythe, was a man and a woman in gold and white robes. They both had long black hair, and they were looking straight at Takeguri.
Marshy didn't notice, and she didn't even know what it was. She was in berserk mode. She didn't care about anything unless it had something to do with avenging Duri.
Takeguri exclaimed, "What the.."
Marshy slammed her scythe down on Takeguri, chopping his head off, and blowing up the entire building.
Takeguri started crashing through all the buildings, and Marshy was flying above him, screaming, "Combustion! Combustion! Combustion! Combustion!"
Takeguri's body was cracking and twisting on its own, blood was splattering all over the place.
Marshy was bleeding from her head, because she was trying to exceed the limit of her Excalibur.
Takeguri regenerated his own body, and he fell feet first on a white road.
Marshy was running towards him, and Takeguri yelled, "Yeah! That's it! Run to my arms like you've one before!"
"Fuck..you! Damn…you!"
[FLASHBACK]
[A few years ago]
[THE BANK]
Marshy was waiting in line at the bank, and there was a long line in front of her. The workers were doing their jobs slowly, they looked like sloths. It was a monday.
One hairy drunk man yelled to the bank teller, "Oi! Count my money right! I ain't leaving till ya' do!"
The woman teller answered, "Please sir, the money is counted right.."
"No the..(*Burps*) fuck it ain't! Count it right, woman!"
Then, Takeguri appeared. At that time, his skin was peach, he had black square glasses, blue eyes, and brownish blonde hair in a small ponytail.
He put his hand on the drunk man's shoulder, and said, "Sir, could you please not cause a scene? You are unstable and under the influence."
"Hehhh? Who the fuck are you? Her knight in shining armor? You want a beat down?!"
"That's my line, sir."
"You bastard!"
The drunk man threw a punch, And Takeguri grabbed his first, appeared behind him, and slightly tapped him on the back of his neck, knocking him unconscious.
The man was about to fall down, but Takeguri caught him, smiling to the bank teller, "I caught him so he wouldn't cause a mess on your floor. They look real clean and tidy. I'll escort him out of here."
The teller responded, "Oh t-thank you sir. How could we repay you?"
"Haha, nonsense. This was an act of courtesy. I am not seeking a reward for helping out. But thank you, though."
Takeguri looked at Marshy, and Marshy was blushing hard.
Takeguri chuckled, and said, "You are awfully smiley at me. What is your name?"
Marshy was hella nervous, she stuttered, "M-m-my name is Marshy…"
"Marshy…that's a beautiful name. My name is Take-."
"Hot."
"I'm sorry?"
"Nothing. Keep going."
"Haha. My name is Takeguri. I'm not really from around here, I just got here from America."
"I love America. Do you like it?"
"It's amazing! I only moved back down to Japan for my work as a consultant. Have you traveled anywhere else?"
"Dude. I've been to every single state, city, region and nation in the entire world. They're all great places. There are a lot of things to see and experience."
"I have too!"
"Really?!"
"Yes!"
"Wow..well, take my number down, and we can talk about this more at dinner..later tonight?"
"Of course! Wait..I..er..ohh..oo…ummm…you see…I'm a Host. So I got a lot of saving the world type shit going on tonight. But definitely tomorrow if I have the time."
"Sounds perfect!"
After that, they began to meet up regularly for dates. Going to sports games, movies, dinner, the beach, and traveled to some kind realms together.
But then after two years, Marshy and Takeguri were sitting at a doctors office, side by side in chairs, while a doctor was sitting in front of them behind the desk.
The doctor said, "The results came back negative. Host Marshy..I'm sorry..but you are unable to have kids."
Marshy was shocked to hear that, and she panicked, "The fuck are you talking about, old man?! Me and Takeguri have tried everything! And you mean to tell me-!"
Takeguri put his hand on Marshy's hand, replying, "Marshy, enough."
Marshy yanked her hand away, yelling, "No! I will not calm down!"
Marshy stood up, and she stormed out of the room.
She slammed the door behind her, making the door blast off the hinges of the wall, and she leaned up against the wall with tears in her eyes.
She said over and over to herself, "What…is wrong with me?...What is wrong with me..? Why did I have to turn out like this?!"
Then, Takeguri came walking out of the room, and Marshy looked at him.
Marshy ran up to him, and she hugged him tight, sobbing her eyes out, she kept saying, "I'll understand if you leave me..I can't give you children."
Takeguri took off his glasses, and replied, "Oh Marshy…you always think ahead, don't you?"
"Huh?"
Takeguri's fingers got sharp, and he tried to slash Marshy across the face at quick speed.
Marshy blocked it out of instinct, but the force still made her fly back through a wall.
Marshy rolled all over the floor, and she was in another room, she told all the people in it, "Get out of here…go!"
They started to run, and Takeguri was standing in front of her.
Marshy stood up, asking, "Why? Why are you doing this?! I understand your anger..but what the hell.."
"Woman. I was created by Reborn, the brother of Zabel, to create a hybrid child for him to build his army. And once that happens, we'll force all the realms to bow to Reborn, so he can rule over them as a rightful leader."
"You..son of a bitch..I don't know who the hell Reborn is..but I know you won't be reborn after I take you down!"
"Oh please. Even if you beat me here..we'll meet again.."
[FLASHBACK END]
[PRESENT DAY]
[XENON'S AX DOMAIN]
Takeguri yelled, "Ahh the memories! So pleasant, yes!"
Marshy swung at Takeguri, and Takeguri dodged it, and two long red spikes came out of his hand, and they attacked Marshy.
Marshy was blocking his hits, each hit made the ground shake, and there was a loud boom.
Marshy was still blocking Takeguri's attacks, and she said, "Back then..I wanted to be a mom. I have looked forward to it since I was little. Starting a family with a nice husband, and living like a normal person would live. That time me and you were together, could've been spent on someone who actually gave a fuck about me. You ruined me mentally…I hated myself for years because I couldn't have children."
Marshy kicked Takeguri in the chest, sending him flying backwards, and she fle3 after him, breaking the sound barriers as she was in flight.
Marshy stabbed the scythe blade through Takeguri's chest, spun around fast, and started smashing him against all the buildings around them.
Takeguri screamed, "ACK! AGHHHH!!!"
'Marshy..is way stronger than the last time we fought!'
Marshy said, "But then…on that one day..that day I met Duri…everything changed. After I knew I couldn't have children..I gave up on that family shit…but when Duri saved my life..I reconsidered."
Marshy started to remember the time when Duri was holding Conan back while being poisoned at the same time, remembering the smile and painful look on Duri's face, watching him give it his all to protect her, and then defeating Conan in just two punches.
Marshy said to Takeguri, "I loved him so much…and you bastards took him from me..…he trained so hard…he worked so hard to get stronger..he wants revenge..and now I want revenge. You bastards…killed him!"
At full breakneck speed, Marshy was punching and slicing Takeguri in all parts of his body, throwing and smashing him through buildings and making multiple explosions occur.
Marshy dashed towards Takeguri, still holding her scythe, she made powerful magma balls ascend from the ground, and they were rolling all over the area, destroying everything and turning everything into rubble and flames.
Takeguri was dodging some of them thinking, 'She's way too strong now!! I have to do it..I can't beat her like this!'
Marshy moved her scythe upwards, and the magma balls were joining together, and they created a large 84 foot tall magma monster, made out of strictly magma, and its mouth leaked fire and ash.
The magma monster grabbed Takeguri, and started slamming him around, making more explosions as smoke was rising all over the air.
The manga monster screeched and pinned Takeguri to the ground, and started punching him over and over.
Takeguri was coughing as blood and ash came out of his mouth.
'I GOTTA DO IT'
The magma monster launched Takeguri in the air, and the magma monster and Marshy jumped side by side together to land a blow on Takeguri.
Marshy had tears of blood in her eyes, screaming, "I loved Duri!!! He was my son!! I'll kill all of you!!!'
They were getting close, until Takeguri took a deep breath and drew some of his own blood out.
Takeguri then formed into a 90 foot minotaur with black horns, red glowing veins all over his body, white eyes, and red halo over its head.
He yelled, "That's it! I love when you bring out the best of me, Marshy! Here I go!"
