Suddenly, his mother's face flashed before his eyes and he felt his eyes tearing up. 

It had been two years since he had last talked to her... He really did ruin everything...

He couldn't admit it to himself but he really did miss her. His mother was strict, she had always been that way. However, even when she scolded him, it was out of love and care. She had always cared for him in her own way. 

At times, she had tried dictating his life and he had always despised her for that. Now that he looked back at it, he felt as if her actions were justified.

She was wrong when she tried to control him but she was also right. He had been too naive back then. He didn't think about the future or the consequences of his actions.

Perhaps she had known him more than he knew himself.
