With a practiced smile, Maria was, sure enough, she fooled those people waiting for her in the venue, handing her flowers and all.

"We're honored to finally meet the daughter of the first lady." said one elderly woman to her who warmly guided her to a seat situated on the stage.

"Mom always talked about this organization so I feel inspired to further her cause," Maria said with her most emphatic voice as if she was really born to raise abandoned children.

Surprisingly, the elderly woman became teary and began to wipe her tears away that it made Maria think she did a good job of fooling these people. She almost felt bad but of course, emotion shouldn't be in the line of her work.

After a while when everything was settled, Maria found herself listening to all the good deeds that 'her mom' had done to expand the organizations supporting different charities.
