寫檢討This review is based on the free chapters. Most transmigration stories I've read start fairly chill and happy (the process), but that wasn't the case for Su Lun, our MC. Su Lun isn't even the innocent type either. He's got quite an interesting history/background story himself. When I think about alchemy, I first think of FMA with Edward and Alphonse Elric. The concept of alchemy feels similar to it. The story itself is pretty interesting, but don't rely on WN getting the names correct. Some of them have multiple names and one poor guy had more than he could possibly count with both hands.
It starts out with an isekai (meh) and then the rollercoaster blasts off. We slowly learn more an more about MC over the chapters and his adventures in this steam punk world, where he has to survive in a world with different rules and norms.

Read the original and it was brilliant. Its a great take on alchemy and a steam punk esk background with an underground city as the main area. All in all brilliant!
揭示劇透A great story ruined by abysmal effort from whoever translated this, i read until chapter 200 and i tried very hard but the wrong name is too hard to ignore. Expect the mc and 2 other characters every single name has at least 1 other way to call it and many time the same characters is called in multiple names in a single chapter. For example: the rich girl MC rescued is called Lena, Rena, Leina, Leyna, Lyna, Camile in one chapter; the big sis from the gang Senjo is called Senjo, Qian Tao, Qian Bao, Olli, thousand stripe, a thousand warriors, Qiaotao in the same fucking chapter as the Lena one. The story is great and the author pour much effort into it and if you can ignore the wrong name then go ahead, except the name the translation quality is quite solid actually, rarely do i get confused and the flow is smooth
