"Who are you?" Linda Davis was alert in her heart.

"You don't need to know who I am, you just need to know that I hate Charlotte Cooper, just like you." the voice on the other end continued.

"An enemy's enemy is a friend. Since that's the case, you might as well listen to me, and I'll teach you how to deal with Charlotte Cooper."

After hearing this, Linda sneered, "So you want to use me as a pawn?"

Linda may not be very capable, but she hates being used by others the most.

"Don't make it sound so bad, it's just a win-win situation. Besides, what has Lucas Carter given you since you've been with him? Nothing, right? And there's so much humiliation, so why not listen to me? When the time comes, I'll erase all traces of you, and you can go all out."

"Once Charlotte Cooper is gone, you'll have one less enemy."
