章節 278: Interstellar / 2.13 : Messing with him

Kian decided to go back to his quarters after breakfast. He wants to rest until the afternoon's meeting. Kian waved to Xiaoshu and entered his quarters. He closed the door and walked to his bed.

He turned around when he heard the door being locked. Kian smiled but stopped when Shaotian turned around. He was wearing the same holo mask as the one in the cave.

He asked coldly:

"What are you doing here?"

Shaotian felt his heartbeat quicken. Kian is angry, he probably thinks he decided not to come to see him. He took a step forward, but Kian took a step backward.

Shaotian stayed in place and said:

"I'm sorry I missed our date. I couldn't beam in the cave."

Kian crossed his arms. Shaotian could tell he didn't believe him.

"I swear I tried to, but it wouldn't work. I beamed in front of the cave, but when I tried to enter it, I hit your field."

Shaotian relaxed a little when he saw that he believed him.

"I'm sorry."
