Asher and Pepper argued for a while about who was considered appropriate to draw the fire away from the other. It went on for a few minutes before Pepper grabbed his hand and yelled

"Asher! One of us has to get out of here because we both can't die! We have a daughter and she's going to need at least one breathing parent" Pepper finally made the point that made Asher shut up.

Asher nodded in agreement and he kissed her on the lips.

"And I love you…" Pepper stopped talking.

She saw the uneasy look in his eyes.

"What ever stupid thing you are about to do, I am asking you not to because it's just going to piss me off"
