章節 2: an unknown danger

I placed the wolf on my bed and sat beside her. I'm not going to lie and say she wasn't an amazing beauty despite being hurt.

"Hey, I know you're awake!" I said irritated "If you don't react, I won't treat your wounds!"

"Why, you saved me!" She whispered lifting her head slightly not taking her back off the bed maybe because she couldn't

"because I felt like it! and I wanted to know what was able to do that to a werewolf in the full moon" I said, interested in her wounds and touched her injured neck earning her a groan of pain" I'm not in the mood to have it any animals other than werewolves in my house"

"We are not animals! Her AAAaaaa" She screamed showing anger and I calmed her by squeezing her injured

She curled up whimpering not being able to move much and my hand was bloodied with a little blood that spurted from her wound.

"Don't raise your voice to me! dog! Don't forget that we are not allies" I said "Now what attacked you? because those bites are not wolf bites"

She looked at me with eyes glowing yellow showing anger and at the same time she lowered her head on the bed

"I don't know, it was fast and strong, almost as much as me!" She grumbled with her head pressed into the bed "but I ended up letting my guard down when I grabbed the thing's neck and ended up getting attacked by another one"

That's annoying. Two beings as strong as werewolves running around the village? Great everything I needed, now I'll have to stay at home because the village will have something to collect when the first victim is made

But, it might be a good idea to hunt the beings that attacked the wolf. I was starting to get bored with killing normal Humans

"Did you kill the first?" I asked

"I don't know, I think so"

"Do you think or are you sure? Be specific" I asked back

"I already told you I don't know-- AAAAAAA" She screamed again raising her head in anger, but, she cried sticking her head down the hall as I pressed her wound.

The blood once again spurted out once again smearing my hand again and the black blood that was on her neck started to turn red.

I waved my hand trying to wipe the blood off my hand and turned my attention to the wolf who was facing the bed submissively.

"I already told you, don't yell at me, I'm not your ally!" I growled through gritted teeth. "Now tell me, did you kill the creature?"

"....."

"I'll ask again, did you kill the creature?" I ran my hand over her neck leaving my hand on the wound in her neck "If you don't answer you will suffer!"

"No!" she whispered

"Did you not kill the creature or do you not want to suffer?" I asked again, forcing a little fear finger in the wound not enough to cause pain

The wolf squirmed a little without taking her head off the bed when she felt my hand on her wound. She didn't seem to be particularly bothered despite being a little scared of me, her body was shaking.

"I don't think I killed the creature I didn't have time for that!" She replied in a shaky voice looking annoyed.

So I have two werewolf-level monsters to hunt that's fun. I couldn't help but feel excited about it. It's been so long since I've had a fun fight

Now what to do with her? I don't have to take care of her, but also leaving her defenseless is not a good idea, she could be the daughter, sister, or wife of some important wolf.

A war with the werewolves would be fun, but not recommended for me not right now.

As I was thinking, I heard the door to my house opening and I smiled, it seems that help for the situation has arrived.

"Finn-- what happened? for you to call me?" Esther entered my room calmly" I heard you rescued a wolf, your father will be mad at you"

I forced a happy smile and turned to her showing that I was happy to see her which was a lie, when I have time she will be the first one I kill

"Mother, you've finally arrived, I need you to help me, heal her" I pointed to the wolf that was bleeding on my bed.

I could see the wolf's surprised look in my direction. even though she hasn't moved from her previous submission position. 'Cause the bed didn't make any noise

Esther looked at the bed and made a face that I could feel wasn't normal. I don't know, but I don't like it! was the grimace of I know and despise

"Finn what are you talking about? she's a wolf!" Esther spoke looking at me with a disappointed expression "Wolves are enemies, we shouldn't relate to them"

Look who says the bitch that every time Mikael leaves, she goes to the village of wolves to be their alpha's little bitch. She still has the nerve to lecture me. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at her hypocrisy?

"I don't-- I mean mother, she's helpless and could be the daughter or wife of some important wolf, maybe Ansel's! we don't want war with Ansel do we?" I asked
