Mother chuckled lightly there, then nodded and went back up the stairs.

"Sorry, Mel, that's Bambang suddenly appearing," said Mother, holding back a laugh.

I just scowled while watching Bambang who was chatting with Paijo. Reluctantly, I descended the stairs, and approached the two men.

I scowled in annoyance, then kicked Bambang's shin until the man groaned in pain.
