Anyone would've thought that the girl was pretending to sleep if they all didn't look this nervous! The doctor pursed his lips.
It was really strange that she wouldn't wake up!
Everyone gazed at the unconscious woman, at a loss for what to do.
Meng Yang bowed his head. Guilt filled his heart. "It's all my fault," he whispered. "I should've had some sweets on me. Now, she's fainted."
His remorseful words echoed across the room.
They all fell silent.
The doctor slowly shook his head. "The girl doesn't have low blood sugar, so having sweets on you wouldn't help either," he comforted. "You don't have to blame yourself."
However, his words of comfort didn't work.
His eyes were bloodshot as he stared at his friend. If he had thought of everything earlier, things wouldn't have been this bad. "It's all my fault," he continuously murmured. "It's all my fault."
He sounded like a broken recorder.
