When Rye woke up early in the morning, she wasn't surprised to learn that it was herself. Valerie had been awfully traumatized yesterday after all. Her phone started to ring then, and she noticed that the call came from Alicia.

Just like Valerie, Rye felt positively about the warm-hearted and welcoming women. But Rye's interactions m with her was way less than that of Valerie.

Rye received the call.

"Valerie, dear, how are the things there for you? Is it all fine? What about your father? Did that man do anything to you? Don't be afraid to tell me. Please."

The worry was clear in the woman's voice. She genuinely cared about her, and this felt nice even to Rye.

"I apologize for worrying you. About my father, he isn't a matter. I can handle him."

There was confidence in her voice.
