Arielle batted her eyes. Her body felt as light as a feather, and all her fatigue had disappeared. She didn't even feel the headache anymore. Arielle felt much fresher than when she fell asleep this morning. She looked at the pocket watch on the nightstand. It was already evening. 

Arielle looked around her. She was back in her room. The dream felt so real that she was a bit disoriented. It felt like she was in a different place and time.

Arielle could smell the cold food. It looked like Tania had brought it, but the old woman decided not to wake her up.

Her hand reached for the blanket. Arielle winced at the strange feeling in her hand. When she saw her palm, the flower that the old man had given her in the dream was in her hand. It was a small white flower with a green stalk like a bell.

Arielle had never seen this flower before.
