章節 226: A favourable Development

After I put Vikaar under my control, I use my frost craft magic to push the window's lock to open it.

When I got in, I made sure I left no traces of snow on the floor by heating up my boots enough to boil the snow away.

Before the spotting lights could pan to the direction of the window, I hurriedly close it and immediately hid by pressing my back to the wall.

Just to make sure I don't get recognized immediately, I turn my skin dark and my hair red.

After confirming that there's no eyes looking at this direction, I then approach the unconscious Vikaar on the bed.

Out of nowhere, I felt a slight crunch below me which caught my attention.

"Damn, I forgot she was eating."

It was a cookie from the basket she was eating from. It seems to have rolled away when she dropped it.

Since this would leave clues of my presence, I decided to burn it to a crisp and crush it into dust leaving hardly any traces of it.
