The gargoyle outside the room notified us about the professors and we got ready with our little prank.
After a nice bout of discussion with Albus, Tom understood that the Metamorphagus was the best paper tiger in existence and I very well intended to use that to my advantage.
The first to enter was Minerva who just stood there at the doorway.
She looked at Tom with eyes that threatened to fall out of their sockets with an open mouth, the rest of the professors including the resident matron stood behind her wondering what could have caused such a reaction.
Albus came to the rescue and moved her in through wand less and incantation less magic to let the others come in as Thomas sat in the chair with poise of the Dark Lord.
Tom spoke as the potion master entered the room to look around till his eyes met mine.
He could see his fear and apprehension clear as a pane of glass.
"Welcome Severus, tell me how shall I reward you for your undying loyalty."
Tom said with an eerie raspy voice that sent shivers down the spines of the ones who stood before me.
"Intriguing right, how I the Dark Lord still lives, standing before you, right beside the one who was once my sworn enemy."
"Fear not, for your lord is merciful, I grant you a chance to come under my wing to follow me and serve me with faith and loyalty as Severus himself."
The professors came out of shock and were already preparing spells to throw at Tom when Albus spoke for the first time.
"No need to draw your wands, Tom here has returned to the path of light and we just had a nice soulful chat about how he wants to be the next Head Master and taking my age into consideration."
"It's probably time I start thinking for a replacement and for that, I have invited you to join us to share your opinions about the matter."
The twitching faces of the professors told more than enough that they were absolutely assured of the fact that the great Albus Dumbledore had finally and completely gone senile or was under a very strong IMPERIUS curse from the Dark Lord who was supposed to be dead for seven years.
After letting them twitch for a while Albus and Tom broke into a mad cackle and with me still in the Baldy-mort persona, it worked to further scare the shit out of them as the resident matron and the potion master were drenched in cold sweat and on the verge of fainting.
"Ah, this was precious. Thomas, you really know how to have fun; I'm keeping a copy of this memory inside my Gringotts vault."
Albus spoke as he calmed down while clutching his belly after laughing too hard.
The faces of the professors changed colors even better than a chameleon while the potion master had lost consciousness after this ride through so many emotions.
"This was a blast Pops, we should do this more often. Tom said as he changed back to my original looks while watching the complex faces the professors were making."
Tom walked forth to Minerva and took her hand politely and placed a kiss on her knuckles in the most gentlemanly manner as I looked right into her eyes."
"The name is Thomas, Thomas Slytherin; pleased to make your acquaintance Madame Mc Gonagall. Hope we have a beautiful relation in the days to come."
Bombs kept dropping on the poor deputy head-mistress, as Albus sighed and chuckled at the sight. He bonked me on the head with his wand saying that I broke her.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- one eternity and a long explanation later…
Everyone was up on their feet and fuming at the head master who had a big grin plastered on his face, I mean like seriously they never expected that the great Albus Dumbledore would pull such a prank on them, while they were mad they had to admit that it was bloody well done.
Let me introduce myself gain, my name is Thomas Slytherin and I will be in your care from now on.
The rest of the day was quite uneventful other than the professors introducing themselves and a tour of the castle. It was decided that I would live in the dungeons beside the potions master.
The day was beautifully spent and the dinner table, I was given a seat beside happy half-giant Hagrid, who was the keeper of the keys at the moment.
And the man was every bit as huge as the movies had shown him to be, the students were whispering about me among themselves till the headmaster decided to speak.
Let me make an announcement before you feed your selves and turn sleepy, today I would like to introduce you to my apprentice and foster son, Thomas; he would stay here at Hogwarts from now on.
I stood up and came beside him and bowed in courtesy.
My name is Thomas, it's a pleasure to meet you all, and I hope we can get along with each other.
The girls were actively discussing about the handsome boy that stood before them, he had raven hair with silver locks flowing through, making it seem even more attractive.
He was tall for his age and was on the lean side but the most attractive feature on him would be his glowing golden eyes that could captivate anyone who matches his gaze.
Everyone was either intrigued or curious at the boy while some professors on the table had weird expressions on their faces while Snape was unusually grumpy.
He was pranked so bad in the headmaster's office today that he remembered the days he spent at Hogwarts as a student bullied by James and Sirius.
That was not bad enough on its own but then the headmaster had decided to make this brat his neighbor and asked him to teach him potions.
He was feeling bittersweet at this point, he knew it very well that Thomas had the blood of Salazar Slytherin in him and to teach the brat would be his honor.
After a long time spent in his thoughts, the potions master decided to make the boy the ideal Slytherin he was supposed to be.
The days flew and Thomas felt that he was in his element when he started using magic like a fish in water. He would absorb everything taught to him like a dry sponge parched for water.
He was a bottom less well that was never sated, the professors very quickly took a liking to him because the boy was an absolute monster of a wizard and was always eager to learn.
He learnt transfiguration from Minerva, potions from Severus, HERBOLOGY from Sprout, spells and enchantments from Flitwick and every bit of what Albus had to teach him.
He was given permission to the restricted section in the library and spent most of his time there if he was not attending class, eating or experimenting with things.
