"You're doing great," Nefera rubbed my back, trying to ease some of the tension in my muscles.
We were in the kitchen, where I was finally allowed a break. We'd been at this all night and most of the morning, and I was exhausted and starving. Which was not a good combination, especially in the mood I was in. The tasks were simple, which only made it more frustrating. Lighting a candle is a straightforward thing to do until you're not allowed to use matches, lighters, or any other kind of available fire. Then, it's nearly impossible. So, you're left staring at this candle stick, hoping you don't look like the moron who couldn't figure it out.
It took me three hours to light it, and I ended up melting the damn thing because I couldn't focus the energy onto the wick.
