"Are you sure you're okay, baby?" My mother scowled at me as we drove to the packhouse. That's the third time she's asked me the same question, and I've given her the same answer every time.

"Just overwhelmed," It wasn't a lie, but my reasons were. I hadn't told my mom that the girl living in my room for the past two years was my mate. I wouldn't tell anyone until I saw her with my own eyes. "Everything's so different now."

"No, it isn't," She smiled, relieved it was something as trivial as that. "I know the furniture isn't the same as you're used to, but Neffy and I do this thing on Saturdays."

"Is her name really Neffy?" For some odd reason, I didn't like it. I haven't even seen a photo of my princess, but I know it doesn't suit her.
