There was no map or information about Zone-A, so Jeanne had to figure it out by herself. Fortunately, the road was not complicated, and she quickly found the passage from Zone-A to the second underground floor. The problem was, once again, she couldn't get in.
Jeanne tried to contact Neil outside, but the signal inside the prison was very bad. She couldn't make any calls or send text messages after entering the first underground floor.
Suddenly, the pitter-patter of footsteps clamoured nearby, startling Jeanne. She hurriedly ducked into the corner of the corridor to quietly observe the situation outside.
Several high-rank prison guards were escorting a prisoner towards the passage leading to the second basement floor. One of the prison guards on the front swiped his bracelet ID on the iron mesh gate sensor. After the gate opened, the group proceeded forward.
