"Why are you not asking me?" She suddenly asks... He blinked, a sharp throb sounded in his heart. He knew what she was clearly talking about, but he still wasn't ready to here it from her. 

"What?" he asks. He really hoped she wouldn't tell him. As long as he just heard it from Damon King, he could manage, he could keep on loving her by himself, but if she tells him about it herself, then he knew he would have to let her go because she would be happier that way. But he wasn't ready to stop loving her.

So he prayed in his head that she wouldn't say anything to him so he could keep loving her that way. So he could still keep her deep inside his heart. 

"You know what." She says, as she fondled with her knuckles. "About me and my Boss." She adds. His heart skipped again, the closer she got to telling him, the more wary he became.
