And the man who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them. He approached Jesus to kiss him, but Jesus asked him, "Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?"
I looked up from the text once I heard a knock on the door. "Your holiness, some guest has arrived to see you. He seems important."
I raised a brow closing the book. did he not mention his name? "Let him in. I placed the book down."
The door had opened, showing a tall young man with grey hair, his eyes closed with a grin. He bowed 75 degrees.
"Greetings, your holiness, I am Verlich... Achlys had assigned me to look after you." Look after me? am I a child? I tried not to let a frown adorn my face.
"...Please to meet you, sir Verlich." I forced a smile. "Ah, please. Act comfortably around me." So he knew I was acting.
My smile was immediately erased. "Then, if you do not mind. I have somethings to ask you, sir Verlich."
"Please state."
"What is the true meaning Achlys had sent you here? Why hadn't he told me about this beforehand? Why does he want to protect me so suddenly?" I pestered him with questions.
He let out a shrill laugh. "Please, calm down. I assure you I will address all your questions. No need to rush." His eyes then had stared at me intently, a flash of something in his eyes glinting.
"... My apologies. Please sit. Would you like some tea?" I stood up heading for the tray filled with crockery "That is quite all right." I could feel his eyes boring into my back.
I put the tray down. "Then, should we go back to answering those questions?"
He let out his chirpy laugh once more. It sounded almost sadistic. "Getting straight to the point, are we? all right."
"Achlys is just being an overprotective husband all right" He put his palm on his chin smiling at me.
I only stared. "All right, all right. He wants your purity all to himself." Purity?
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"He probably didn't want to tell you because you would beat him up again." Don't tell me... He knows that I punched Achlys.
"Honestly, it was funny seeing him all battered. He is usually so neat and "handsome" He emphasized the "handsome."
"Many wouldn't find the opportunity to lay a finger on him without falling down dead. He seems to adore you, I see."
"..." Adore me? It seems like an obsession. I inwardly sighed.
"Well, I look forward to working with you, Verlich." I decided to not go in-depth in questioning him.
"As well do I."
-
The prayer room was empty as I prayed in front of the large statue, my hands pressed together. I kept my head low, a whiff of wind passing me. I paid it no mind.
That is until large arms wrapped around me, I flinched in response immediately opening my eyes.
Achlys' hair tickled my cheeks, his face buried in my neck, his nails cutting the chasuble off my garment, parts of my neck are exposed.
"We can not do this here. Not in the house of the Lord." I protested trying to pry his arms off my waist, only causing him to keep a firmer grip.
I flushed as his mouth attached to my neck, nipping and sucking. "Achlys, we mustn't!" I protested once more.
"The Lord is watching!" I still kept trying to wiggle out of his embrace. "All the more reason to continue" I could feel his grin on my neck.
One of his hand's hands had glided down to my inner thigh. My blush had deepened as I called out his name once more. This was humiliating.
He halted his developments, as I drove his arms away, this time he had given up. "Have you no shame?" I covered up the bruise on my neck that he made with his sharp teeth.
He gave me an indifferent look not bothered one bit by the situation that had just occurred. I picked up the fallen fabric on the floor.
"Ah..you're right I'll save this for our wedding night." he pondered to himself, causing me to give him a side glare. I had almost forgotten he wanted to supposedly "marry me"
Clicking heels echoed in the sanctuary, and distant voices. Ones that I was familiar with. Martyr and Kluger.
Triple update before short break.
