"Mama, I think you should get a boyfriend," Amadeo said, looking at the way Dyke disappeared too. 

To say Calliope was shocked would be an understatement. Just what did he learn in these years while she was away?

"What are you saying? And where did you learn all these words?" Calliope said, making it seem as if he had said something immoral. Of course, those were absolutely immoral words in her dictionary. She couldn't imagine her son asking her about her boyfriend. 

"I'm no more seven. I will be ten soon," Amadeo said, proudly. "Boys in my school have girlfriends."

What was the point of being single during her primes? He believed that his mama should have the most handsome boyfriend since she was the prettiest and smartest in the entire world. Of course, everyone else would be one step less great than him as he was the greatest man in the whole wide world.
