Her mother knew that she had to let go of some junkie habits which she had if she wanted to make up for being a neglectful mother, her daughter had practically been a baby sitter to her. Grace's days were tedious as she searched for jobs all through the city and her nights were long due to the odd jobs she did to his a few coins and tops so she could buy food for herself, her mother, and her brother. 

Eventually, she got a job at a snack bar where she worked for some months. Though the beginning was difficult, knowing what she was looking for, she did her best to have everything that she could to be on good terms with everyone.

Not until one day this rich man showed up with his bratty daughter who wanted an apple Bavaria, just the Bavaria malt was available the girl insulted Grace so bad and even went as far as getting the manager to fire Grace because she spoke when she had not yet finished talking.
