With the activation of my power, all of reality started to bend and twist around me as space-time quivered from the activation of the power I hold.
With a grin, space followed my order and will making it twist and fold and with that, I felt my body going through the boundaries of space.
But as I was about to land at my destination, thoughts flooded my mind about the problems this persona may hold with my relationships with the other reincarnates and Kyouma's reoccurring disappearance.
With the problem now dawning on me, I now realize it is time to go above and beyond my current space- capabilities.
"I can divide a single timeline into two and live in both timelines, it should be easy to make two versions of me exist in a single timeline" with a confident grin, I halted space from transporting me to another point and arrive at a black void with nothing inside it but me.
As I halted my breath and felt my consciousness leaving my body, I opened my metaphysical eyes with my ethereal form as space-time overtook my whole existence making power flow through my whole body.
With a shaking mind from the sheer pressure this power brought, the laws of space and time flooded my soul with the principles presenting themselves to me like a naked lady ready to mate with a lustful male.
With incomprehensible words flowing through my mouth to help with my concentration, all of reality soon started to distort from the byproduct of my interference with all of space-time in this universe.
As cracks appeared everywhere and anywhere, I felt like this universe was about to be destroyed but it was fine because I already stopped all of time to not alert any beings below my temporal prowess.
With a shaking ethereal body, my body started to become two in the same timeline which is near impossible for me before as it seems like there can only be one me in a sense that I am special in a weird way.
As my mind reach a near breaking point, fissures of black and white covered my whole body along with the void enrapturing it in a beauty never before seen that would drive any mortal beings into insanity as these lights contain my understandings of space and time that reached those of Gods.
"GAHHHH!" with a monstrous soundless growl subconsciously release from my will to control space and time, the void around me distorted from my divine control.
Soon, my body started to divide into two full of fissures and cracks colored black and white along with my figure being that of chaos that distorted into any shape ranging from a humanoid figure into a sphere that slowly made me go unconscious.
With a mind near the point of breakage, I lost control at the moment I was about to succeed and what came was a wave of black and white while my consciousness faded away with the light as my fail-safe activated.
(An Unknown Amount of Time Later)
"H- huh?" I muttered as the sound of leaves ruffling was heard all around me along with the wind flying by to my body that seems to be on top of dirt.
As I slowly put my hands on the ground to meet the woody roots, I push up to move my body away from the ground and felt a sudden weakness overcoming my whole body.
With a shake of my head, I opened my dirt-covered eyes to see that I was indeed inside a forest full of healthy trees that brought a sense of natural beauty to the forest filled with light rays that peek through the holes between the leafy roof formed from the trees.
"Sigh, it seems like the experiment failed. Well, I guess I just have to live a double life in the future, but I'm pretty sure I'm not in the right forest" I muttered while looking around this beautiful forest with the peaceful chirpings of birds in the air around me.
"Welp, I'm now lost and that's great! Suddenly arriving in an unknown forest in another world, the adventure of Kira is about to start with his Akashic Records!" I said with a smile as a book of a relatively big size, a dark blue cover inlaid with strange golden symbols appeared in my hand as knowledge flooded my mind like a raging river.
"Okay, backstory for Kira. A big brain guy that loves reading books gains the Akashic Records, boom, that's the story" I said while crouching down on the ground with my plain white outfit that is just a white shirt and white pants.
"Game plan, Kyouma will be a biology focused guy while Kira is focused on magic, let's just unlock magic already, I only know low-level spells so it isn't that broken right now, besides, I'm too lazy to do so many shenanigans to unlock magic" with my game plan now made (though its trash), I got into a lotus position while the Akashic Records floated in front of me while I change the cover to be pure white inlaid with golden markings to be more fashionable.
"I still need to read the book right now because of my low level but later I should be able to keep it inside me to gain knowledge just like with Kaleido" I muttered while the pages flipped to show a set of instructions I have to follow that is maximized for optimization with unlocking magic.
With a deep breath, I closed my eyes with the knowledge deeply imprinted into my mind and as if I know what to do at an instinctual level, I slowly felt the mana in the air and with a tug, it all funneled into me at a pace that got faster and faster and before I knew it, I unlocked my mana in just a few seconds which shows how broken the Akashic Records is as it just expands on my previous knowledge like it just takes knowledge out of nowhere.
And later it would be able to be a true Akashic Record if my theories are true but basically, with more knowledge contained by the Akashic Records, the more it can expand upon that base to make new ones out of nothing.
"Okay, mana unlocked, I should be able to reach E rank in mana in a few minutes but D should be a few hours so I'll reach E and get some food for the day, then try to find some hints of human civilization to live at" with that, I looked at the updated instructions of the Akashic Records that further optimized my mana gathering manual and in just a few minutes, I was able to gather enough mana to be considered as an E rank mage.
"Whew, now it's time to train the few spells I have, which are just Light Ball, Sparks, and some non-combat spells that are more focused for some day-to-day lives, oh wait… I have no wand to cast magic with!" I said as I realized I have no wand to help me channel magic but then I look at the book floating in front of me with squinted eyes.
"C'mon, cheats are supposed to be convenient right? This should be feasible, it should be a magical assisting object, right? Unless it has some way to make me not dependent on wands and staffs already!" I said and soon, the pages flipped to a certain page that presented me with the knowledge I just need.
[Equipment and Chants are but support not needed, with enough control and skill, you can cast spells with nothing other than your mind and will…]
As I read the rows of words presented to me, I finally realized why Louis is so broken, his 3 No's Magic is basically when a spirit is allowed to control all elements and is also a human, Louis is basically an Omni-elemental spirit-human hybrid!
The one instead I am learning is that no chants mean I don't have to chant and instead only visualize the spell in my mind, no equipment means I just have better control that wands are not needed.
I will never be able to reach the levels that Louis has in the arts of magic and that further makes me want to get his cheat later, but with a shake of my mind, I read the steps I have to do to make myself not need chants and support.
After I read the page, I realize it would take too long to achieve this level but the problem is readily solved with enough ingenuity.
Why worry about mastering the art of magic when you can master one spell, the book hurriedly flipped towards a certain spell and with a quick glance, I hurriedly understood the principles of this one spell and how to masterfully execute it with the mystical properties of the book I wield.
With a raise of my hand, a ball of light shot out of the open palm of my right hand as I smiled like a giddy child.
"It worked! Instant spell mastery! I can instantly master spells!" I shouted in excitement as I hurriedly look at the other spells I know and in just a few seconds, I mastered all of my current spells and could cast all of them with no chants or equipment but they both have their merit, I would need less concentration and more power for the spell.
With a gleeful smile, I stood up from the ground and prepared to hunt some animals.
