The last few hours had been heavy for both of them. They were afraid for each other instead of themselves.
"It seems they have gone, " Aania looked at his face.
"Hmm. Let me see " he said, leaving her. He moved towards the opening of the crack and peered outside. He couldn't see anyone through the bushes.
"Let's go " he grabbed her hand and got out of the crack and moved along with the crack wall behind the bushes. After ten minutes they had come out of the danger zone but they didn't know where they were. The forest had densed even more.
"Where are we?" Aniya said, looking around.
"I don't know but We have gotten away from the enemies," said Ghazi. Aania wrinkled her nose.
"You put me in trouble by coming here. I was about to run away. But I had to stop because of you," Aniya asserted.
"How could I not come here? Why did you go in danger? You know I can't see you in trouble." he said with resentment.
