Queeniecat (1) Hongmen Feast: 'Feast at Swan Goose Gate'. A historical event that took place in 206BC, where the future Han emperor Liu Bang was invited to a banquet at Hongmen (a place location) by his political rival, Xiang Yu, who had intended to murder him during its course. Liu Bang had been aware of this but had chosen to attend anyway. Nowadays, used an elaborate deception where a malicious intent is concealed beneath a good gesture.
(2) A thief crying 'stop thief!': An idiom meaning to cover up one's misdeeds by blaming another.
