A shocked gasp was released by Matthew only less than a second before he could feel a soft pair of lips right against his.

His body froze, not in millions years did he expect Mason would pull him into a kiss.

In fact, he even doubted if the lips that are against his belong to Mason even though the latter and himself are the only ones in the room.

The sensation of feeling addicted to drugs with the release of euphoria, including brain chemicals like dopamine, oxytocin, adrenaline, and vasopressin,

this is the closest and simplest way to describe how that little superficial kiss made Mason feel.

His mind somehow formed huge walls around him, as a barrier between the daze that he went in during the kiss and the reality.
