章節 50: Chapter 50

"How are shares counted?"

"I want 30%, you keep 70%. How about it?"

"Yeah, okay."

"This company will exist because of you. As for the 30%, even my hard work will be involved. After all, messy things like site selection and decoration are still very troublesome."

"It's not so much for you that 30% of the hard work is for you, but it's for Pepper."

"Abel, you fellow…you know me!"

"Okay, I'm not concerned about other things. You can tell me when you're ready. Finally, I have two requirements. I need a sufficiently secret laboratory and a strong training room. I'll trouble you with that."

"Okay, I see."

"Then I won't bother you. If you have anything, you can call me."

"Don't worry, I won't forget you if I encounter a problem… But then again, why are you so loud? What are you doing? Climbing?"

Listening to Tony's words, Abel looked at the scenery below the mountain, nodded, and smiled. "Yes, I'm climbing the mountain, so don't disturb me. I'm going to continue climbing."

Saying goodbye to Tony, Abel hung up and walked up the mountain again.

At this time, Abel was on Aruba Mountain in California. Since learning Kamar Taj's portal magic, geographical distance was no longer an issue for him.

As for Abel's reason for coming here, it was not to climb the mountain but for the oak tree on this mountain with a history of about 13,000 years (this oak tree exists in reality)!

The wand in Abel's hand was known to him since it was made—it was just a temporary wand. Although this wand was crafted by Abel himself, the material was slightly rough and improvised, and its nature was incompatible with him.

His magical power had grown rapidly, allowing him to use many spells from his previous life again, including a lot of black magic. The current wand was no longer suitable for him to continue using.

So, at this moment, with many things coming to an end, Abel was ready to find the materials himself and build a wand that truly suited him!

The most suitable wand for Abel in his previous life had a body made from the heart of an oak tree. Naturally, when searching for materials, he aimed for the oak tree. When he found information about the 13,000-year-old oak tree on Mount Aruba online, he immediately came here.

The various trees in this life lacked the spirituality of the previous life, but over time, some trees developed a bit of spirituality that could come in handy. The wand Abel had was originally made from a century-old pine tree, considered one of those special individuals.

Moreover, even if the oak tree itself had no spirituality, its 13,000 years of history and growth were enough to make it an excellent material for a wand body!

When Abel saw the 13,000-year-old oak tree, he recognized it immediately.

He transformed into black smoke and arrived at the trunk of the oak tree, extending his hand to sense it. Eventually, Abel locked onto the heart of the oak tree, which had gathered almost all the spirituality over its 13,000 years of existence.

Abel drew out his wand and tapped it lightly against the trunk of the oak tree, causing the trunk to open like a living thing, revealing a yellow-white heart.

Although the spirituality was strong enough, it had no consciousness of its own and could not resist the invasion of magic.

While the most spiritual heart of the oak tree was extracted, the tree would become more ordinary over time. However, it would not die directly and would continue to grow. The next time a tree with similar spirituality might condense would probably take a few hundred years.

In the future, if conditions allowed, Abel could transplant this oak tree into his nest or laboratory. It would be valuable to pass it on from generation to generation.

He carefully cut out the core of the tree and placed it in the box he had prepared. Abel waved his wand to restore the trunk of the oak tree to its original shape, then opened a portal and left.

When he returned home, Abel took out the box and examined the heart of the tree inside, feeling the exuberant spirituality within it. He could vaguely sense its significance and quickly determined that the core must match the heart of the oak tree. He needed to find a dragon; only a powerful dragon heart would be worthy of a wand made from this oak heart!

And this dragon would not be ordinary; it had to be one of the strongest among dragons.

At this point, Abel had a clear goal, but there was no dragon in this world that would casually surrender its heart, so he needed to do it himself.

With this thought in mind, Abel put everything away, preparing to find time for the creation.

Just then, the Ancient One's call suddenly came from Abel's ear.

"Master Abel, please come to Kamar Taj to discuss something."

Abel understood that the Ancient One was likely searching for him regarding either Mexico or the sorcerers and demons that had crawled out of the shadows of the Earth. The likelihood of the former was minimal; after all, the situation in Mexico was about Asgard, a power he could not participate in. The latter was much more probable, considering there were only a few sorcerers from Kamar Taj who could fight, and they could not handle a large number of demons.

Thinking of this, Abel immediately got up and opened a portal to Kamar Taj. He had been eager to acquire some of Kamar Taj's magic for a long time and didn't want to exchange his magic immediately. This task was just right; it would allow him to trade for the magic he wanted for research.

Recently, Abel had been considering a plan to integrate his magic with the magic of this world, especially that of Kamar Taj. He needed a lot of magic for research, as he wanted to ensure the independence of his magic. He had likely given up on the exchange of potions and prescriptions and instead sorted out his magic for trade.

Moreover, to obtain the heart for his new wand, he still needed the Ancient One's strong support. While Abel could slay a dragon, he specifically wanted to take down a dragon strong enough to meet his needs. It was an easy task, but he still required the Ancient One's assistance.

As the saying goes, leaning against a tree for shade is a good idea. Abel needed to hold onto the Ancient One tightly to get through this weak period smoothly and quickly.
