章節 22: Found her weak
After fighting with all her strength, she became so weak that she couldn't walk. She sat on the floor gasping for breath. She started feeling a bit dizzy, her body was in pain.
Ning Quio started to walk slowly using the little strength left in her. She didn't know how but she managed to get out of the corner and soon she reached a road weakly.
The beautiful gown was dirty and torn in some parts revealing her thighs and part of her chest leaving her breast in the dress. she felt bad for the way she looked but what she cared about was her safety.
Meanwhile...
Lu Laoyang was searching for Ning Quio but couldn't find her where could she have gone? he walked to the roadside and saw her leaning against a car, she looked weak.
She looked weak and dejected. Her dress was torn revealing some parts of her body. He started running to her in huge strides. Ning Quio recognised him " You came? why didn't you come earlier", Ning Quio threw a punch at his chest.
"I'm sorry I should have come earlier"
He took her and carried her in his arms, he ordered his assistant to come to pick them up. They drove to his house and a doctor was already in the room waiting for them.
He gave her an injection and she fell asleep, he prescribed some medicine and left.
Lu Laoyang looked at the girl on the bed, she looked so beautiful that no other man could take his eyes from her but at this moment she looked pale. Her chest heaved slowly making him a bit nervous.
He was so worried about her. He sat on the bed and kissed her forehead, why did she always have to go through pain?
He didn't sleep the whole night and was watching her the whole night.
Ning Quio woke up in the morning feeling weak, she looked around and saw that she wasn't in her room. This room looked luxurious. She got up to walk to the door but after taking a few steps she fell to the ground pushing the table with a glass of water to the ground, the broken glass pierced through her arm causing her to feel some pain.
Lu Laoyang rushed in after the noise and saw her hands bleeding. He helped her to the bed and brought the first aid box to bandage her hand.
Instead of criticising her he instead caressed her, " Are you feeling okay? does it hurt somewhere?"
"Lu Laoyang I'm okay", this was the first time she called him by his name.
"Are you sure? we can call the doctor"
"....." Ning Quio wanted to cry seeing the way he cared for her. She didn't know what to say.
"Why did you get up? did you want anything?"
"No, I didn't know where I was so I tried to find out"
"Rest well, you're weak now"
"Can we take a walk in your garden? I want to see the beautiful flowers and inhale their sweet scent"
Lu Laoyang carried her and she placed her hands around his neck, he walked slowly to make her feel comfortable.
Ning Quio got angry and hit him in the chest," Why are you walking like a tortoise?"
Lu Laoyang didn't respond and smiled at her childish attitude. Ning Quio wanted to argue but she didn't because of his sweet smile.
