Elliot smiled at his Dragon Apostles.

They were all powerhouses in their own rights, and their proud, prickly characters caused them to occasionally bash heads against each other.

Well, mostly the Chromatic Dragons.

The Metallic Dragons were rather quiet and they didn't really participate much in arguments, preferring to defer to Elliot's judgements and decisions.

However, one would be grossly mistaken if one mistook their utmost deferrence to Elliot as a sign of weakness.

In fact, Elliot suspected that in battle, the Metallic Dragons were actually slightly deadlier than the Chromatics!

It wasn't that they were stronger in terms of pure damage output. The Chromatics and Metallics were probably equal in that aspect.

But the Metallics were in general, calmer, more rational, and thus were able to make excellent combat decisions that contributed to the bigger picture at all times.
