章節 13: Chapter 13
We were about to go out the door when I remembered that they should be fine too. "Remember, three hours! You only have three hours to clean the house, your rooms, yourselves and to eat! Only three hours!" that's all and Lunar and I left.
We were halfway on the road when I heard Lunar laugh. I turned to look at him with confusion written on my face. "Sorry, I can't help it." He said between his laugher. "I'm just amazed! I didn't expect you'll shout fire to wake them up. Knowing you, Abstract the well-known comforter of all ages."
"You... you're being talkative now, hmm?..." I commented.
He just smiled. "By the way, where are you going?"
I shook. "Just drop me off at the Sufficient Mall, I just want to buy something there." I made excuse.
"I'll come with you."
"No need, so you can rest as well." I replied.
Fortunately, the Sufficient Mall is open at this time. At the back of this mall, the Written Cafe is located. I have already ordered what is on the menu yet they still don't come so I decided to go out for a walk. Then, after a walk and feeling the fresh air, I decided to go back, I saw Sketch and Doodle sitting inside the cafe we had agreed upon. Obviously, Sketch is bored on his seat. I went straight near them.
"Will we have to wait a long time for that Abstract? I have much more to do." I heard Sketch said.
I sat in the empty seat next to their table. I noticed Doodle just shrugged. In fact, I have been waiting for them in this cafe for a while and it is obvious in my breathing but since they took so long to come, I took a walk outside first. Sketch was about to stand when Doodle stopped him.
"Let's wait a little longer..." said Doodle so Sketch irritably sat down again.
I drew in the wind to cheer myself up. Next to me is Doodle, I was only a few inches away from him. "I've been here for so long, guys; it's been about two hours." I suddenly said not even looking at them. In fact, it's been over two hours but I understand why it took so long before they arrived. I raised my cap then looked at them; shock is obvious from their reaction. Maybe, they didn't expect it's a girl that they'll see. I smiled. "Hi! I'm Abstract, Abstract Wrightwood." then waved at them.
"What is this brainstorming you are talking about?" Sketch's straightforward question.
"For my story that I've only been doing for about a week..." I lied. "...it's a bit difficult to explain but what's already written is really happening." I hesitantly said.
Sketch sighed. "It's just all coincidence, don't take it seriously." He said then stood up and left.
Doodle looked and followed Sketch until he disappeared in his sight. I smiled and laughed a little. "He will be back; he'll be here again in about five minutes." I said to Doodle not looking at him.
He was staring at me. "How can you tell?" Doodle asks.
I stood up, sit on the chair opposite Sketch, take something on the table, and show it to Doodle. "He left this; go ahead... can you get in your car without this?" I said while grinning.
Sketch is rushing back to where we were sitting and attempts to snatch the key to his car that I'm holding. "When you get this, the one next to your car will definitely explode before you get out of the parking lot so sit down and listen to what I have to say." I said with the look of challenging him.
He lean his hands on the table. "And why should I listen to you?" Sketch's questioning me while looking straight through my eyes.
I smiled. "You left here annoyed because you didn't really want to go but when you are close to your car, you noticed your key isn't in your pocket. So you said to yourself 'Argh! I think I forgot my key on the table! Why do I like to play my key when I'm impatient!', am I right?" I looked at him straight from the eyes and his reaction was obvious, he was surprised. "So when you sit down, that waitress over there will accidentally bump the customer and there'll be a commotion. The customer will asked for manager and the manager will apologized." After saying that, Sketch sat down as if he was hypnotized at he suddenly looked at the counter when we heard sound of a shattered glass and that proves what I've just said earlier. I saw Doodle's eyes the wonder and confusion whereas Sketch was obviously surprised. "Do you think that everything is still coincidence?" I asked then stood up. "Come on let's go out." then I pulled Sketch up because he doesn't seem to move from shocked. We were at the door when I handed him his car key. "Here's your key and give me a ride because we're going somewhere."
Sketch was silent while driving, the amazement from the eyes of Doodle whose sitting at the back through the passing places is noticeable while I seldom speak to point the way. I noticed Sketch glancing at me.
"Do you want to say something, Mr. Driver?" I joke and tease at the same time.
"Where are we really going?" Sketch asked.
I smile. "I'm kidnapping you and you are willing victims." I answered.
A strong brake made by Sketch. "What?!" they asked at the same time which seemed to make me deaf.
I grinned. "You two have to get off the car and this is no longer our car." I seriously commanded. I could see their reluctance but they complied. We got out of the car, I saw Wit and Wise riding motor. Wit threw the helmet, I put it on Doodle while Wise handed me the helmet he was holding, and I put it on Sketch then Wise put on the helmet he used.
