Just as Michael was thinking he heard another prompt.
[Detected that the Host has summoned a legion, does he wish to use his Ability Wheel of Spirits?]
''Yes!'' Michael shouted
Immediately a large golden wheel appeared in front of him, separated into millions of different sections of varying colours. There was a small arrow on the top pointing down towards one of the sections.
Michael stepped forward and placed his hand on the wheel before giving it a push.
It spun, producing clicking sounds, before it finally landed on a small purple section of the wheel.
[Congratulations to the Host for receiving the Bronze Army Spirit 'Iron Rhino']
As soon as the prompt fell, all 100 members of the Iron Chest Legion seemed to kneel on the ground facing towards Michael. Above them a huge phantom figure began to appear.
It looked the same as a Rhino, except its body was covered with what looked like Iron Platings. Even it's horn had a metal cover on it.
[Army Spirit: Iron Rhino
Rank: Bronze
Legion:Iron Chest Legion
Effect: 50% bonus to Defense, 10% Bonus to Attack, Unlock Ability Charge (All legion members charge forward with a 100% Speed increase, hitting their target with added momentum.)]
Although it isn't the highest ranking Army Spirit it still has an incredibly high effect. Combined with the Iron Chests already high defense bonus as a legion, it could almost double their current defense!
Even Bronze Ranks might find it difficult to injure them at this point. Moreover the Attack bonus will allow them to easily handle other ordinary monsters.
Awooooo!
Suddenly Michael was distracted by a wolf's howl from near the castle. He turned his head only to see a ferocious creature pacing backwards and forwards around a translucent shield protecting the castle.
The wolf wasn't the same size as normal wolves, racing almost two meters long and a meter tall and its fur was tinted green.
''Perfect practice for my legion. Iron Chest Legion go kill that wolf.'' Michael said with a smile on his face.
This wolf had reached the Bronze Rank, however it was on it's own. The 100 Iron Chest Legion would have handled it without the assistance of the Army Spirit but there might have been losses.
While the Iron Chest Legion began a one sided battle, where the wolf could barely even break their defense.
Meanwhile Michael further explored the system.
First he saw three separate options.
[Trading][World Chat][Regional Chat]
Clicking on Trading, Michael saw a very limited number of items put up for sale by various lords. Mostly consisting of scraps of wood. But they all wanted the same thing, food.
However Michael also lacked that so he moved onto the World Chat.
Messages were constantly refreshing as millions of people wrote out about their surprise and fear of being in a new world.
But most noticeable among the messages were those lords bragging about the Legion they received.
{Haha I really reached the peak of my life, my starting legion was actually a Bronze Tiger Man Legion!}
{Those above that are nothing compared to my Bronze Wolf Legion!}
{Why am I so unlucky, I received ten men in my ordinary legion}
According to what Michael was reading, his legion wasn't the worst and nowhere near the best. But the strongest he saw was a large Bronze legion and he hadn't heard of any silver legions being summoned.
Of course it is likely that those with Silver Legions or higher kept quiet about it.
''Lord we have slain the monster.''
Soon one of the Iron Chest Soldiers now covered in blood and scars pulled over a large body towards Michael.
However looking at the slightly mangled body of the creature Michael almost felt himself throwing up.
''What do I do with this body?''
[Detected body of a 'Wild Wolf' do you wish to decompose?]
''Yes''
[Received 500 Units of Meat, 100 Units of Fur, 1 Ordinary Legion replenishment card]
[Ordinary Legion Replenishment Card: Add 100 new soldiers to a legion of your choice.]
''Incredible! I can double the numbers of my Iron Chest Legion!''
''System use the Replenishment Card on the Iron Chest Legion!''
Soon 100 more Bulky topless men appeared, a sharp contrast to the 100 bloodied leftover legion. Although the previous 100 men were bloodied, they weren't really injured.
Their powerful defense made the wolves' attacks barely scratch them, and the more powerful attacks were only enough to tear their skin.
However the soldiers were baptised by the war, that is how legions grow on this continent. Constant battles will be raged daily just to improve the strength of the legion.
As for the Units of meat, once cooked up 1 unit of meat is enough to feed a person for a day. So for the remaining 300 units of meat, Michael hung it up on the trading platform.
What Michael was looking for was weapons. 300 Units of meat trading for 20 weapons. Although not the best trade it was still likely to be snapped up.
Many of the lords received fully equipped legions when they started off even though thousands of people could easily take out enough weapons to trade for some food.
After killing the first beast, Michael sent the Iron Chest legion to the surroundings to continue to hunt creatures.
Moreover as they killed the Wild Wolf, Michael learnt the requirements for upgrading the castle.
It takes 100,000 Exp to upgrade the castle. This can be collected by any amount of legions, at any time.
Soon the hunt continued, Michael himself wasn't confident to leave the protection of the shield.
Right now the Iron Chest Legion was in rough combat with close to three hundred Ordinary Wolves. This was actually a Wolf Nest!
Luckily the Ordinary Wolves could barely pierce the skin of the Iron Chest Legion, however the Iron Chest Legion weren't much better.
Their Attack Power is not comparable to their defence, only slightly better than normal soldiers. Suddenly they all activated the ability of Charge. Pushing forwards like angry beasts each impact pushed back a wolf.
The impact crushed the wolves internal organs instantly incapacitating at least half of the wolves.
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
